*Christmas is the centre piece of time. Everything we measure time wise is before Christ of After Christ.. (B.C or A.D)

Every thing centres on Jesus.

‭‭Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭

To save Israel God sent Moses and Joshua. But to save us He sent nobody, He came Himself.!!

Jesus Christ the Son of God ,He in person came for you and came for me.

Jesus was born as  Saviour.

Jesus was born as King.

No body made Jesus a King He was born as a King, not as a Prince one day would become a King... Jesus was born a King.. The King of kings and The Lord of Lords..

Isaiah and psalmist prayed..

‭‭Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! Isaiah‬ ‭64:1‬ ‭

‭Part your heavens, Lord, and come down; touch the mountains, so that they smoke.Psalms‬ ‭144:5‬ ‭

He came down 2000 years back. His arms are wide open..

Immanuel .. God with us..

Blessed day with Jesus.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life .John 3:16.

*There is a difference in presents and presence. The story is told of a little boy wishing for one thing at Christmastime—something from his Daddy who was serving in the military in Southeast Asia. Hearing a knock on the door, the little boy rushed to open it and there stood his father. He didn’t ask, “Daddy, what did you bring me?” He threw his arms around the father’s neck and said, “Oh Daddy, this is the best Christmas present I’ve ever had!” His father’s presence.

We don’t usually think of a person as a gift, but actually interpersonal relationships are the most valued and cherished gifts of all. The Bible teaches that God gave a Person as a gift to every one of us, and that Person is Jesus Christ.

Christmas is a time when people focus on folklore and gift giving, but Christmas is actually a glorious reality, not a myth, not a tradition, not a dream. It is a time of joy. What happened in Bethlehem that marvelous night became the link that bound a lost world to a loving God. From that manger came a Man who not only taught us a new way of life, but offered us eternal life in His presence. God loves us so much that He was willing to give His Son Jesus to a lost world, to redeem a people for His own.

Here is an incident from the life of Leo Tolstoy, the  novelist.

Leo Tolstoy was walking along the street. He saw a poor beggar on the way. The poor man stretched out his hand to Tolstoy, expecting something. He searched the pockets to find something to give this man. But they were empty. He put his hands on the poor man's shoulders.
Tolstoy said..
"Don't be angry with me my
brother, I have nothing to give you."

Suddenly, the man began to cry
out of joy. He said, “But you called
me brother - that is a great gift. It has made me so happy that no amount of wealth will be equal to it. It is strong enough to keep
me alive for many years."

To the loved, a word of affection is a morsel, but to the love-starved, a word of affection can be a feast.....

Can we give a gift of words of love and compassion to the needy?

That will be a great gift we can give...

Let us follow the foot steps of Jesus Christ...

May this season be  time of showing love to others....

📖

For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,  saying: “I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.” Hebrews‬ ‭2:11‭-‬12‬ ‭

*A Guy Named Bill

His name is Bill. He has wild hair, wears a T-shirt with holes in it, jeans and no shoes. This was literally his wardrobe for his entire four years of college. He is brilliant. Kinda esoteric and very, very bright. He became a Christian while attending college.

Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed, very conservative church. They want to develop a ministry to the students, but are not sure how to go about it. One day Bill decides to go there. He walks in with no shoes, jeans, his T-shirt, and wild hair. The service has already started and so Bill starts down the aisle looking for a seat.

The church is completely packed and he can't find a seat. By now people are looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one says anything. Bill gets closer and closer and closer to the pulpit and when he realizes there are no seats, he just squats down right on the carpet. (Although perfectly acceptable behavior at a college fellowship, trust me, this had never happened in this church before!) By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in the air is thick.

About this time, the minister realizes that from way at the back of the church, a deacon is slowly making his way toward Bill. Now the deacon is in his eighties, has silver-gray hair, a three-piece suit, and a pocket watch. A godly man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walks with a cane and as he starts walking toward this boy, everyone is saying to themselves, You can't blame him for what he's going to do. How can you expect a man of his age and of his background to understand some college kid on the floor?

It takes a long time for the man to reach the boy. The church is utterly silent except for the clicking of the man's cane. All eyes are focused on him. You can't even hear anyone breathing. The people are thinking, The minister can't even preach the sermon until the deacon does what he has to do. And now they see this elderly man drops his cane on the floor.

With great difficulty he lowers himself and sits down next to Bill and worships alongside him so he won't be alone. Everyone chokes up with emotion. There seems to not be a dry eye in the entire congregation.

When the minister finally gains control he says, "What I'm about to preach, you will never remember. What you have just seen, you will never forget."...

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.John 1:14

Jesus Christ came in to this world to save sinners.

We Rejected Him.. He Revelled in us

We forgot Him.. He remembered us

We moved away from Him.. He came closer to us.

We said "no room".. He said in my Fathers house there are many rooms for you....

O what a love... Jesus loves you!!!!His Name is, Emmanuel.. God with us..

What a friend we have in Jesus.....

Jesus is the reason for the season...

Blessed day.....

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.Luke 2:10‭-‬11

Great Joy for all the people*
1)Ordinary people.
In those days Shepherds were treated as common people. They suffered a lot in taking care of the sheep. Lived like nomadic people, staying outside their homes . They were poor people.
Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord Luke 2:8‭-‬11

Yes the good news is for common men like shepherds

2) Wise men
The good news is not only for ordinary people or illiterate, but for intellectual or philosophers.
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”Matthew 2:1‭-‬2

They were learned people having much knowledge...

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.Matthew 2:10‭-‬11

Yes the good news is for wise men or women.

3) Religious people.
The good news is for religious people who always spend their time in matters of religion. In prayer, good works, etc
And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.Luke 2:25

 Simon was Praising God..

So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,Luke 2:27‭-‬31

The gospel( good news) is needed for all.
For common men, the wisemen and for the religious...

If you belong to any of above, this Joyful season be a time of receiving the greatest gift .

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, (Jesus Christ) that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”Matthew 1:21

*"Longing to leave her poor Brazilian neighborhood, Christina wanted to see the world. She was discontent with a home having only a pallet on the floor, a wash basin, and a wood-burning stove. And she dreamed of a better life in the city. One morning, she quietly slipped away, breaking her mother's heart.

Knowing what life on the streets would be like for her daughter, Maria, her mother, hurriedly packed and set out to find her. She went into a photo studio to get one last thing, pictures. She sat at the photograph booth and closed the curtain and spent all the money she could on pictures of herself. And with her purse full of small, black-and-white photos, she boarded the next bus to Rio de Janeiro.

Maria knew Christina had no way of earning money. She also knew that her daughter was too stubborn to give up. When pride meets hunger, a human will do things that were before unthinkable. Knowing this, Maria began her search. Bars, hotels, night clubs, any place where the reputation for streetwalkers , she went to them all. And at each place, she left her picture taped on a bathroom mirror, tacked to a hotel bulletin board, fastened to a corner phone booth. And on the back of each photo she wrote a note. It wasn't long before both the money and the pictures ran out and Maria had to go home. The weary mother wept as the bus began its long journey back to her small village.

And it was a few weeks later that young Christina descended the hotel stairs. Her young face was tired. Her eyes spoke of pain, and  fear. Her laughter was broken. Her dream had become a nightmare.  Yet, the little village was, in too many ways, too far away. As she reached the bottom of the stairs on that fateful day, her eyes noticed a familiar face. She looked again, and there on the lobby mirror was a small picture of her mother. Christina's eyes burned and her throat tightened as she walked across the room and removed that small photo. Written on the back was this compelling invitation: "Whatever you have done, whatever you have become, it doesn't matter. Please come home".

And she did. And I want you to know that that's what the message of the gospel is all about. Did you know that the Bible says that, "Jesus Christ has come to seek and to save that which is lost"? And Jesus Christ is God's picture to us. Did you know that? The Scripture says, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father". Jesus said that. Do you want to know what God is like? He's pictured in Jesus. Jesus is God, but He's a picture of who God is. And Almighty God sent His picture down here. It's taped on the podium of churches. It's heard on the dial of radio stations. It's seen in television christian programs. And on the back of the picture is this message: "Whatever you have done, whatever you have become, come home".

May this season be a time of repentance and turning back to God..

Jesus is the reason for the season...

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.I John 1:7‭, ‬9

Preparing our hearts to share the Joy

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.James 1:17

God Loves you. Personally. Powerfully. Passionately.

Others have promised and failed. but God has promised and succeeded.

He loves you with an unfailing love. And His love can fill you and leave you with a love worth giving...

⭐.. That's what love does. It puts the beloved before itself. Your soul was more important than His blood. Your eternal life was more important than His earthly life. Your place is more important to Him than His place in heaven. So He gave up His so you could have yours... Max lucado

Once in our world, a stable had something in it that was bigger than our whole world.".. C S Lewis

What can I give Him,

Poor as I am?

If I were a shepherd

I would bring a lamb.

If I were a Wise Man

I would do my part,

Yet what can I give Him?

Give my heart... christina Rossetti

So God throws open the door of this world — and enters as a baby. As the most vulnerable imaginable. Because He wants unimaginable intimacy with you. So vulnerable that His bare, beating heart could be hurt? Only the One who loves you to death."Ann Voskamp

All the Christmas presents in the world are worth nothing without the presence of Christ.".. David Jeremiah..
