*High Time to Turn to God
The Bible often speaks about “the hour” — a moment when God calls people to wake up spiritually.
John the Baptist began his ministry with a strong cry:
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” (Matthew 3:2)
Soon after, Jesus Christ preached the same message:
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)
Later, Paul the Apostle warned believers:
“And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber.” — Romans 13:11
Throughout Scripture, God reminds us that time is moving forward. The door of grace is open now, but one day it will close.
Today the world is busy, distracted, and spiritually asleep. But the urgent need of this hour is repentance — turning our hearts back to God.
Repentance is not just feeling sorry.
It is turning from sin and returning to God with all our heart.
The prophet Joel cried:
“Return to Me with all your heart.” — Joel 2:12
Today the Lord is still calling.
The door of mercy is open, but the time is short.
Lord Jesus,Wake my heart in this hour.
If there is anything in me that is not pleasing to You,
I repent and turn back to You.
Keep my life ready for Your coming.
Amen.
