*Wednesday, 28 October 2026

This morning, after dropping my son at school, I was returning home. The main road was crowded, the traffic was heavy, and I was tired.

Suddenly, I saw a small lorry filled with beautiful pink flowers.

What a lovely sight!

For a moment, my attention shifted from the busy road to those beautiful flowers. And in my heart, the words of Jesus was reminded.

“See how the flowers of the field grow… Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.”
— Matthew 6:28–29

What a wonderful reminder in the middle of an ordinary morning!

Jesus was teaching His disciples not to be consumed by worry. If God takes such care in clothing the flowers, which bloom for only a short time, how much more will He care for His children?

Perhaps today, you are travelling a different kind of busy road—a road filled with responsibilities, unanswered questions, and worries about tomorrow.

We don't have to know everything about tomorrow to trust the One who holds tomorrow. lift your eyes above your circumstances. Your Father knows your needs. His love has not changed, and He has not forgotten you.

When worries fill your mind, remember the flowers. When tomorrow seems uncertain, remember your Father.

Jesus loves you. You can trust Him!

Praise God!

*From the Shadow of His Wings to the Fountain of Life

Psalm 36:7–10 | John 4

It was a hot day. The Samaritan woman was exhausted—not only by the heat of the day but perhaps by the burdens of her life. She came to Jacob’s well carrying an empty water pot and a thirsty soul.

But that day, she encountered Someone greater than Jacob!

1. Under the Shadow of His Wings

“How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” (Psalm 36:7)

She came to the well looking for ordinary water, but she found herself in the presence of Divine Love. Jesus knew her broken past, her present struggles, and her deepest needs. Yet He did not reject her. He welcomed her into a conversation that would change her life forever.

The heat of the sun was nothing compared to the exhaustion of her soul. But under the shadow of His love, she found refuge.

2. Drinking from the River of His Delights

“They feast on the abundance of your house; You give them drink from Your river of delights.” (Psalm 36:8)

She had been drinking from broken cisterns, searching for satisfaction in places that could never truly satisfy her. But Jesus offered her living water!

She came to draw water from a well, but she discovered a river of divine delight. She came with an empty pot, but she left with a heart overflowing with joy.

What a transformation! The woman who came alone to the well returned to her village with a testimony. The thirsty soul had discovered the One who alone could satisfy her deepest longing.

3. Discovering the Fountain of Life

“For with you is the fountain of life.” (Psalm 36:9)

Jesus did not merely offer her another drink; He revealed the source of life itself.

She had been searching for satisfaction, but now she had found the Saviour. She had been carrying the weight of her past, but now she had a reason to rejoice.

The Fountain of Life was standing before her, speaking words of eternal life!

4. Seeing the Light in His Light

“In your light we see light.” (Psalm 36:9)

In the presence of Jesus, she began to see her life differently. He revealed her true spiritual thirst and opened her eyes to the truth about worship.

The conversation that began beside a well led her to discover the true worshippers whom the Father seeks—those who worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:23–24).

She came to draw water, but she left with a new understanding of God. She came burdened by her past, but she returned to her village with the good news of Jesus.

5. A Life Transformed by His Love

“Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.” (Psalm 36:10)

The woman who once came to the well in the heat of the day now ran to tell others about Jesus. Her encounter with the Messiah became an invitation for her entire village to come and meet Him.

The shadow of His wings became her refuge. The river of His delights became her satisfaction. The Fountain of Life became her hope. And His light opened her eyes!

Come to Jesus.

Under the shadow of His wings, you will find refuge. In His presence, you will discover the river of His delights. In Him, you will find the Fountain of Life. And in His light, you will finally see the light.

*Two Little Messages from God

Every Day: A Fresh Start | Be Still and Know

Today is very hot day in an interior village. We were attending a meeting where the speaker was sharing about having a fresh start with God — learning to hear His voice, reading His Word, and beginning each morning with prayer.

As the heat increased, one little boy became restless, running around. Finally, he sat in front of me. Suddenly, I noticed the words written on the back of his shirt:

“Every Day is Fresh Start.”   ( photo below)

What a beautiful reminder! While we were listening to a message about beginning afresh with God, those words were right in front of my eyes.

But God had another surprise for me.

From the pulpit, the Word of God was shared:

“Be still, and know that I Am God.”
— Psalm 46:10

After the session a little girl  came in front of me. We had met her some years ago when her birth itself was a testimony of God's goodness. As she stood there, I noticed the words written on her T-shirt:

“Be Still and Know.”      ( photo above)

I was amazed!

We were in a very remote village, among people with very limited exposure to English. Yet, in the same meeting, two children carried two messages that perfectly echoed the Word being shared.

One said, “Every Day Fresh Start.”

The other said, “Be Still and Know.”

One reminded me to begin afresh with God every day. The other reminded me to be still and recognise who He is.

Perhaps this is a message for you, too.

Are you longing for a fresh start? Have the burdens of life made you restless? Are you struggling to hear God's voice amid the noise around you?

Come back to His Word. Begin your day with Him. Make room for prayer. And when life becomes overwhelming, pause and remember who your God is.

Sometimes, we need a fresh start. Sometimes, we simply need to be still.

Those two little children became living reminders of God's truth today. What a joy to see how ordinary moments can touch our hearts and turn our attention towards the Almighty!

Thank You, Lord! You are the living, Almighty God. You can use even the words on a child's T-shirt to remind us of Your truth.

Every day, a fresh start.

In every situation, Be still and know that He is God.

Perhaps these two messages are just what you And me need today.

Worship Beyond Walls

“True worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth.” — John 4:23

Two mountains. Two traditions. Two communities that were enemies.

The Samaritan woman at the well brought up a question that had divided people for generations: Where should we worship? The Samaritans worshipped on Mount Gerizim, while the Jews considered Jerusalem the proper place.

But Jesus shifted the focus from the mountain to the heart!

Worship is not about the location; it is about our relationship with God.

It is not merely the sound of our lips, but the sincerity of our hearts. It is not simply an outward expression, but an inward reality. True worship must be in Spirit and in truth.

And notice the transformation!

The woman who came carrying a water jar left it behind. She had come for ordinary water, but she encountered the Messiah. She received a revelation, experienced a new joy, and ran into the town to tell others about Jesus.

Her encounter became her testimony!

Psalm 100 invites us to worship the Lord with gladness and come before Him with joyful songs.

we may have different languages, traditions, and expressions of worship. But let us never allow our differences to become walls between us.

The Father is still seeking true worshippers.

May our worship rise from sincere hearts, overflow with heavenly joy, and lead others to the feet of Jesus.

*“Mom, I Too Have Come to Believe!”

Devotion on a Mother’s Prayers and God’s Faithfulness

C. I. Scofield, known for the Scofield Reference Bible, had a remarkable testimony of salvation.

According to accounts of his life, his mother prayed before her death that her son would one day become a minister of the good news. . But she died when he was still an infant. He grew up without knowing about her prayer. Years later, after struggling through a troubled life, he encountered Jesus Christ and became a believer. Only afterward did his sisters tell him about their mother's final prayer.

Imagine the emotion in his heart when he discovered that his mother's prayer had been carried through the years!

Nevermore underestimate the power of a mother's prayers. You may pray for your children today and see no immediate change. Years may pass. They may walk in a different direction. You may even wonder whether your prayers will ever be answered.

But keep praying!

The Bible says, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16.

We cannot guarantee how or when God will answer our prayers. But we can entrust those we love to His sovereign grace.

Your prayers may be forgotten by people, but your tears are never hidden from God.

Keep sowing in tears. Keep trusting His faithfulness. The God who sees the end from the beginning is still at work.

And may the day come when those for whom you have prayed encounter Jesus personally and discover the joy of salvation.

Never stop praying for the people you love. Their story is not over yet!
