“Rest in the Father’s Arms”
This morning around 9 AM near KR Puram railway station and metro in Bengaluru, everything was moving fast.
Crowds rushing… people running… noise everywhere.
It felt like a picture of our modern life — busy, pressured, always moving.
But in the middle of that rush, I noticed something beautiful.
A small baby girl was sleeping peacefully on her father’s shoulder.
While the whole world around was noisy and restless, she was completely quiet… safe… resting.
Immediately this verse came to my heart:
“But I have calmed and quieted myself,
I am like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child I am content.”
— Psalm 131:2
Content. Secure. Peaceful.
This is what God desires for you and me today.
Not laziness.
Not escaping responsibilities.
But inner rest.
In a world that is temporary, noisy, and demanding, our Heavenly Father invites us to lean on His bosom — the Almighty, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe.
Like that little child on her father’s shoulder,
we can rest in our Heavenly Daddy’s arms.
Work may be busy.
Life may be heavy.
But your heart can still be quiet.
Today, if these words speak to you, pause for a moment and say from heart.
“Thank You, Jesus.”
Rest in Him.
Trust Him.
Let your soul become quiet in His presence.
May you experience a blessed day of rest in the midst of a busy world.. .

Amen 🙏
