*There are seasons in life when it feels like everything is more than you can handle.

More fears than you can face.

More questions than you can answer.

More changes than you can tolerate.

More health issues than you know how to treat.

More bills than you can pay.

More problems than you can solve.

More deadlines than you can meet.

More enemies than you can number.

And you begin to wonder, “Am I the only one standing here?”

Elijah knew that feeling.

On Mount Carmel, Elijah stood almost alone against the prophets of Baal and Asherah—850 against 1 .

The ratio was frightening.

But Elijah discovered something powerful:

When God is with one person, that one person is never alone.

Elijah stood on one side, and 850 stood on the other. But the real question was not, “How many are with Elijah?”

The question was, “Who is with Elijah?”

And God was with him.

God answered by fire.

God gave Elijah victory.

Then God sent the rain after a long drought.

And when the rain came, something even more amazing happened.

Elijah ran ahead of Ahab's horses all the way.

The man who looked outnumbered became the man who outran the horses.

Why?

Because the presence of God can make one person stronger than the multitude standing against him.

So, if today you feel overwhelmed—if your problems seem greater than your strength, your resources, your answers, or your ability—remember Elijah.

You may be outnumbered, but you are not outpowered.

You may feel alone, but you are not alone.

God with someone is always the majority.

As Paul says:

“If God is for us, who can be against us?”

— Romans 8:31

Today, don't count only what is against you.

Count who is with you.

And when God is with you,

one plus God is always a majority.

Have a blessed day with Jesus!
