How many times we used the word good bye in our life?
What is actually the meaning? Simply this Good bye is short for "God be with you"

(The first known use of the word “goodbye” was recorded in 1573 in a letter by English writer and scholar, Gabriel Harvey,  “Godbwye” is a contraction of the phrase “God be with ye.”)

And that is introduced in the 1st chapter of gospel of Mathew "Immanuel" God with us..
May be you are using the word today good bye in school, office, home, airport, railway station Or where ever it is.... you are saying  "Immanuel" "Jesus be with you today"

He came from heaven and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ is God's " good -bye" gift to you that you might greet each new day with the words... "God be with you".... "Immanuel....."
Blessed day!!!

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”Matthew 1:23

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.John 1:14
