For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20

 

*Russell Kelso Carter wrote this hymn while teaching at the Pennsylvania Military Academy.

While at this Academy he worked as professor of chemistry, natural science, civil engineering, and mathematics.

He was known to be a man of many talents and published books on diverse topics.

Besides being an intelligent man, he was also an exceptionally good athlete in his youth.

Standing on the Promises is probably based on Russell Kelso Carter personal experience.

It is said that when he was around 30 years old, he faced a serious health crisis that helped him to put his trust on God.

In other words, he learned to stand on the promises of God.

During this time, he had a grave issue with his heart and the doctors told him that they could not help him.

There was simply no medical solution for his problem. He just had to wait for his death.

But he decided to claim the promises of God on healing.

As he began to claim these promises his faith increased and over time his heart was healed and lived another 49 years without this heart problem.

We too can learn to stand on the promises of God and in faith claim his promises.

It was a day when darkness engulfed the land at noon time. Many wept as they beheld the scenes.

There is a man fighting the last fight against death. A man who has no hope in this world. Eternal hell right before his eyes…

He saw a glimmer of hope in the Man who was crucified next to him.

The door of the paradise was opened before a man whose all hopes had receded from his view.

*It was just a lamb with its horn caught in the thicket. But to Abraham it must have been the most beautiful sight in the world.

 
The sound of the lamb felt for him as a beautiful music he had ever heard. What that lamb meant was his life. Life for his own precious son - the child of promise.

 
The old man must have looked at that lamb through the haze of tears and then cast his eyes  toward heaven. In joy and gratitude called Lord.. Jehovah- jireh.. The Lord will provide..

After many years... 

I came to draw water from the well. I came at noon time to make sure that no one sees me. 

I was lonely, rejected, five broken marriages... hated by all.. No hope... 

Where is God? 

Does He see? 

Does He really know what is going on? 

But I saw someone waiting for me near the well. I am a broken hearted woman from the village of samaria. 

Yes.. He sees me... 

It is His very Name..ELROI. The God who sees... 

The omnipresent God is here, and His eyes are not shut..

Lost hope in life? 

Jesus knows your Name. 

He sees your situation.

Where is God now?

Those of his household prepared an ark to save Moses. We know how Moses was lying down in the basket near the river and how the daughter of Pharoah fostered him as her own son.

An ark (basket) was used to redeem a baby who was three months old.

But let us listen carefully what Noah is being told before the flood in the book of Genesis.

So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.Genesis 6:14 NIV

That large boat was prepared considering all.

After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits. to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water,1 Peter 3:19,20

In the Hebrew language the basket that was used to save Moses and the large boat which was used to save all the people during the time of Noah were called by the same word Ark. 

One may be a child or there may be the whole world, for God they are all precious. Salvation is the gift of God and of the Lamb. Hallelujah!!

മൂന്നു മാസം പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരു കുഞ്ഞിനെ വിടുവിപ്പാൻ ഒരു പെട്ടകം മുഖാന്തരമായി .

എന്നാൽ ഉല്പത്തി പുസ്തകത്തിൽ ജലപ്രളയത്തിന് മുമ്പ് നോഹയോട് കല്പിക്കുന്ന വചനം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.

നീ ഗോഫർമരംകൊണ്ട് ഒരു പെട്ടകം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക; പെട്ടകത്തിന് അറകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി, അകത്തും പുറത്തും കീൽ തേക്കേണം.ഉൽപത്തി 6:14 

ആ പെട്ടകം എല്ലാവരെയും ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച് നിർമ്മിച്ചതാണ് .

ആത്മാവിൽ അവൻ ചെന്നു, പണ്ടു നോഹയുടെ കാലത്തു പെട്ടകം ഒരുക്കുന്ന സമയം ദൈവം ദീർഘക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അനുസരിക്കാത്തവരായി തടവിലുള്ള ആത്മാക്കളോടു പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.1 പത്രൊസ് 3:19 

ഹെബ്രായ ഭാഷയിൽ മോശെയെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ പെട്ടകത്തിനും ,നോഹയുടെ കാലത്ത് എല്ലാവർക്കും രക്ഷപെടാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ പെട്ടകത്തിനും ഒരേ വാക്ക് തന്നെയാണ് . (Ark)ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് .

ഒരു കുഞ്ഞായിരിക്കാം, ഒരു ലോക സമൂഹം മുഴുവനായിരിക്കാം 'ദൈവത്തിന് എല്ലാവരും ഒരു പോലെ വിലയേറിയവരാണ്. രക്ഷ ദൈവത്തിൻ്റെയും  കുഞ്ഞാടിൻ്റേയും ദാനം .ഹാലേലുയ്യാ!!

**Well, Jesus Christ came,  it’s obvious.

In Malachi, there’s a prophecy of His forerunner, John the Baptist.

 
In Micah, there’s the identification of His birthplace, Bethlehem.

 
In Isaiah, the very words of Messiah that He comes to the poor, prisoners, blind, and oppressed. From Isaiah 61 is exactly the speech He gave in Luke 4 in Nazareth.

Psalm 118 predicts the triumphal entry, when He went into Jerusalem.

Isaiah 56 and Jeremiah 7 prophesy that He would cleanse the Temple.

 
Psalm 118 says He would be the rejected cornerstone.

Isaiah 53 says He would be numbered with the transgressors in His death and buried with a rich man in His grave.

 
Psalm 22 says the Messiah will give up His garments to those who gamble for them, casting lots.

 
In Psalm 16 it says He’ll rise from the dead.

 
In Deuteronomy 18 it says He’ll be a prophet like Moses.

Isaiah 53, He’ll be a sheep led to slaughter.

Psalm 2, He’ll be resurrected, begotten from the dead.

 
Isaiah 49, He’ll be a light for the Gentiles. He fulfilled every prophecy of Messiah, and thus fulfilled every salvation promise.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you. James 4:7‭-8(a) 

The weapon enemy usually uses against us is

 " never"

'you will never overcome this sin. '

'you will never become spiritual'

'you will never get a job'

'your marriage will never happen'

'you will never pass the exam'

'you will never be healed from this disease'

'your children never be saved'

'you will never get an answer for this prayer'. ... 

.... 

May be today also the enemy whispered in your hearts the above.... 

But these are lies.. Don't believe the voice of the serpent.. 

Take the Sword of the Spirit..." It is Written "

God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”Hebrews 13:5

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. John 6:37
