19 July 2026 Sunday 6 pm

*Sitting quietly in the church hall, I listened to a message about the God of small things. My heart was drawn to a familiar picture—David, holding five smooth stones in his hand. Small, simple, almost insignificant… yet placed in God’s hand, they brought down a giant.

My thoughts moved forward through Scripture

A little boy stood with five loaves of bread. Something small. Insufficient in the eyes of man.Yet in the presence of the Son of David, it became more than enough. He blessed it. He broke it. He multiplied it.Five thousand were fed—and still, twelve baskets were left over.

What is small in our hands becomes abundant in His.

Today, I am reminded that my prayer, my small devotion, my simple obedience( yours also) —none of it is wasted when placed in Christ’s hands.

Yes, Lord… even this small devotion is enough when it is given to You.
