*A young boy once walked a long distance in Africa just to give a gift to a servant of God. When asked why he would travel so far, his answer was simple yet profound:
"My walking is a part of the gift."
What a beautiful truth.
Love is not just seen in what we give, but in what it costs us. The journey, the effort, the sacrifice—all of it becomes part of the offering.
This reminds us of the greatest gift ever given. God did not send something from heaven—He sent His Son. Jesus came down from heaven to earth, and His gift was not instant or effortless. He walked.
He walked through Samaria, Galilee, Capernaum, Emmaus ,and Jericho.
He walked dusty roads, met broken people, touched the hurting, and loved the unlovable.
He walked into Gethsemane, carrying the weight of sorrow.
And finally, He walked to Calvary, carrying the cross.
Every step was a part of the gift.
The love of Christ was not distant—it was demonstrated through movement, through sacrifice, through intentional steps toward us.
And today, a question gently comes to our hearts:
Are we willing to take steps for others?
Are we ready to walk, to go, to reach out—even when it costs time, comfort, or convenience?
Because true love is not passive.
True love moves.
True love walks.
Sometimes, the steps we take for someone else become the most meaningful part of what we give.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.
