Let us pray.. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost, but now am found

Was blind but now I see

Was Grace that taught my heart to fear

And Grace, my fears relieved

How precious did that Grace appear

The hour I first believed

Through many dangers, toils and snares

We have already come

T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far

And Grace will lead us home

And Grace will lead us home

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost but now am found

Was blind but now I see

Was blind, but now I see

Only One Thing.....

“But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42

Every day we hear many news that are very shocking. How fast is the devotion to Jesus getting lost?
Epidemics, rumours of wars…many such…

The Lord said “You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.” Matthew 24:6
Let us fix our minds onto that one which cannot be stolen.Let us preserve this day, purity and the devotion  to Christ.
David longed after and prayed for one thing even in the midst of great troubles.
One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple” Psalms 27:4
Are you who read this article, worried and upset about many things, this moment?
The Lord is about to come…Let’s be ready soon!
Indeed, only one!

“…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus…” – Philippians 3:13,14
Zinzendorf, the devoted of God sang in spirit “I have one desire… Christ and Christ only”
“When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28

#####
Only joy in this world is sitting at Jesus'  feet
Then my griefs flee as snow in the summer sun

No honour nor glories gives you peace
All but thirsting water, gives this world

In streams as deer, rest in Jesus so my soul
Cart off sorrows and gives you all of bliss

On His altar found their shelter, sparrow n swallow
So did find I in my Lord a joyous resting place

Tearful valleys in millions are there in this life
Still will not I fear as He pours His rains of grace

* Father, I feel discouraged. Sorrow wells up in me because of disappointments, losses, deep needs, and unmet expectations. Of course, You understand my sadness even more than I do. You see what is truly causing this deep hurt and making me feel hopeless. But, Lord, I realize that when I focus on what I don’t have, my problems, or my regrets, they will always overwhelm me. They will always be bigger than they really are. So, Jesus, I will set my focus on You. Encourage and comfort me, my Lord and Savior.

I call Your faithfulness to mind, and therefore have hope. Thank You, Father, that You will always fulfill what You’ve promised. You have vowed to give me hope and a future. You have guaranteed that You will never leave or forsake me. You have assured me that You will walk with me on the mountains and in the valleys of life. I praise You because You are reliable, steadfast, unfailing, unwavering, constant, and trustworthy. You never forget, never falter, and You never fail.

You are always unswervingly faithful in all things.

This is because You, Lord God, are omniscient — You know everything and, therefore, understand how to prepare, mature, and lead me in every changing season of life. You are omnipotent — You have the power to do anything and aren’t hindered by any force on earth or in Heaven. You are omnipresent — I am always within the reach of Your strong and loving hand. And You are unchanging — Your faithfulness endures forever. You can be trusted to keep Your promises in all things and at all times.

 Surely, knowing You are with me encourages my heart and helps me to continue forward. You work all things together for my edification, and even the trials I experience are for my good and Your glory. Your precious Word gives me assurance, directs me through the changing seasons of life, and reminds me that no matter what I face, I can do so with absolute confidence. You have delivered me through many trials and will continue to do so. You have set me free from bondage and persistently work in me so I can walk in Your liberty. Your loving, faithful presence will be with me today and will accompany me in all my tomorrows.

There is no reason for my soul to be downcast, because I can put my hope in You — the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, my Great High Priest, Redeemer, Defender, and Provider. I praise You for how awesome, loving, and encouraging You are.

Thank You for encouraging me and comforting me, Father. Thank You for forgiving my sins and teaching me to walk in Your truth. Thank You that nothing is impossible for You. Thank You for the precious promises You bring to mind and Your presence, Your power, Your compassion, and Your loving-kindness

toward me. I will put all my hope in You.

 In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.

Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love... Ephesians 6:24

*In 1732, John Leonard Dober and David Nitschman, both in their early twenties, left their jobs and families to become the first Moravian God's servants. These two young men had heard that three thousand slaves from Africa had been taken to an island in the West Indies to work on the sugar cane plantations. God had placed a burden on their hearts to go to the island and present the love of Jesus to these slaves who were forced to work there.

But there was a problem. The British slave owner, who was an atheist, would not let any God's servants on the island. He defiantly announced, “No preacher, no clergyman, will ever stay on this island. If he’s shipwrecked we’ll keep him in a separate house until he has to leave, but he’s never going to talk to any of us about God.” Since they couldn’t get on the island as God's servants there was only one other option. They had to be willing to be sold into slavery! Selling themselves to the British planter was their only shot, and they took it. If they were going to share the Gods love with the slaves, they had to become slaves themselves. This wasn’t a decision where they could come back in a few years. They would be working as slaves on the island for the rest of their lives and would never be able to return home. Their families were shocked and couldn’t understand why they had made such a radical decision. They had sacrificed their freedom and their entire future to serve Jesus Christ in a most unusual way. They wanted more than anything to answer the call of God to reach these slaves and please Him with their lives.

On October 8, 1732, their families stood on the dock weeping, knowing that they would never see them again. As the ship pulled away with the young men aboard, they linked arms together and shouted to their loved ones they were leaving behind, “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!”

These words became the anthem and inspiration for thousands of God's servants who would follow in their footsteps. Without realizing it, the two young men had birthed a  movement. Over the next 150 years, the Moravians sent out two thousand God's servants to various places over the world.

"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Isaiah 52:7

The Loyal Love of God

*One of the most defining traits of God is His hesed— a Hebrew word that means “loyal love.” This is more than just a feeling of love; it is kindness backed up by action. This psalm outlines the richness of God’s love, revealing how He cares for us.

But perhaps the most endearing promise of love comes in  psalms 145:14“The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.". . Perhaps you need that reminder today. Instead of trying to muster the energy to pick yourself up and dust yourself off when life knocks you down, remember that God in his hesed— His loyal love— will lift you back to your feet again.

Psalms 145 NIV

I will exalt you, my God the King;
    I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise you

    and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the
Lord and most worthy of praise;
    his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation commends your works to another;
    they tell of your mighty acts.
They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
    and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
They tell of the power of your awesome works—
    and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They celebrate your abundant goodness
    and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
The
Lord is gracious and compassionate,
    slow to anger and rich in love.
The
Lord is good to all;
    he has compassion on all he has made.
All your works praise you, Lord;
    your faithful people extol you.
They tell of the glory of your kingdom
    and speak of your might,
so that all people may know of your mighty acts
    and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
    and your dominion endures through all generations.
The
Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
    and faithful in all he does.
The Lord upholds all who fall
    and lifts up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to you,
    and you give them their food at the proper time.
You open your hand
    and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
The
Lord is righteous in all his ways
    and faithful in all he does.
The Lord is near to all who call on him,
    to all who call on him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
    he hears their cry and saves them.
The Lord watches over all who love him,
    but all the wicked he will destroy.
My mouth will speak in praise of the
Lord.
    Let every creature praise his holy name
    for ever and ever.

— Psalm 145

The oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.Isaiah 61:3

But as for me, afflicted and in pain may your salvation, God, protect me -Psalm 69:29

Even though the 69th Psalm begins with the loud cry of an afflicted person, it concludes with praise and thankfulness… Mainly the contempt and scoffs from others broke the heart of David. Listen carefully to the words where he conveys the sorrows of his heart before God.

Save me, O God,

    for the waters have come up to my neck.

 I sink in the miry depths,

    where there is no foothold.

I have come into the deep waters;

    the floods engulf me…

I am worn out calling for help;

    my throat is parched.

My eyes fail,

    looking for my God.

 Those who hate me without reason

    outnumber the hairs of my head;

many are my enemies without cause,

    those who seek to destroy me.

I am forced to restore

    what I did not steal.

Those who sit at the gate mock me,

    and I am the song of the drunkards.

You know how I am scorned, disgraced and shamed;

    all my enemies are before you.

 Scorn has broken my heart

    and has left me helpless;

I looked for sympathy, but there was none,

    for comforters, but I found none.

After the Psalmist shared all his trials and sorrows to God, he sang about the salvation of God in the 29th verse

But as for me, afflicted and in pain—

    may your salvation, God, protect me.

Subsequently his lamentation has become dancing. Sack cloth was removed and wearing the garment of gladness, he glorified God. Instead of a spirit of despair a garment of praise!! Hallelujah!!

I will praise God’s name in song

    and glorify him with thanksgiving.

    This will please the Lord more than an ox,

    more than a bull with its horns and hooves.

   The poor will see and be glad—

    you who seek God, may your hearts live!

   The Lord hears the needy

    and does not despise his captive people.

   Let heaven and earth praise him,

    the seas and all that move in them,

   for God will save Zion

    and rebuild the cities of Judah.

  Then people will settle there and possess it;

    the children of his servants will inherit it,

    and those who love his name will dwell there.

What happened? His meditation of the salvation of God, lifted his heart to God.

The Prophet Habakkuk also had the same experience!

Though the fig tree does not bud

    and there are no grapes on the vines,

though the olive crop fails

    and the fields produce no food,

though there are no sheep in the pen

    and no cattle in the stalls,

yet I will rejoice in the Lord,

    I will be joyful in God my Saviour.

 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;

    he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,

    He enables me to tread on the heights. Habakkuk 3:17-19

What thoughts have caused you to be sorrowful now? Are they scoffs from others, hurting words…? Forgive them with all your heart.

Raise the cup of salvation which God has given you. Rejoice in the God of salvation. These Psalms contain those experiences through which our Lord has gone through. Jesus can understand you fully.

Start singing the song of salvation!

May God anoint you with the oil of gladness!

*Literal translation of a Malayalam song: “Daivathin Sneham Ha ethra Shreshtam”

Great is the love of God

Who can describe its depth?

In midst of the life’s trials and weariness

Reaches his hands of love towards you

When withered are you in wilderness

When you fall lifeless

His love gives new life and strength

And lifts you up to skies

When dear ones despise and reject you

Enjoy as they judge and punish you

Just as a mom the love of cross

Holds me to His bosom

When life’s burdens rise up

When worn out by sicknesses

God’s love says Do not fear,

For I am with you

For who has despised the day of small things? Zechariah 4:10

Centuries ago, in a country(region) named Silesia, God's people gave much importance for small fellowships. Small groups of size lesser than ten came together and with singing, they praised God. They experienced the joy of the Kingdom of God by sharing the Word mutually and by encouraging each other.

Some years later when the Catholic government came to rule, all the church halls of God were closed down, just within a night.

In some houses the children of God gathered together and worshipped the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. In the year 1718 God sent a revival into these
fellowships. God’s hand worked among the places near the riversides of Oder.

In a school there, children gathered together in their break times with singing and prayer. At that time, their parents glorified God in front of the school
in tears and holding each other’s hands.

These families had to flee from there due to the crisis and persecutions in this country. Don’t you want to know where they escaped to?
They ended up at the estate of Count Zinzendorf.!!

It was August 13 of the year 1727…

There was a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit!

The Moravian Missionary group!!

100 years of prayers!!!

This was the group which God used to spread the love of God to all the parts of the world.

Express your decision to God, you who read this article.

God needs a small step!!

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess .. Ephesians 3:20(a)

God does not have any limits to work. God’s power and God’s wisdom are beyond our understanding.
While Watchman Nee was in prison, the time allotted to his guard was a mere 6 hours. There were reasons to it…
The church in China continued to grow even as they were suppressed  through various means. One of the reasons for this was that, the letters which Watchman Nee sent to the churches was giving great encouragement and zeal to them. This happened while he was in prison for a long time!!
The number of his guards were increased. Their working time was 6 hours. The guard who was stationed for Watchman Nee was to be on duty for only once.
On that day also he shared the love of Christ to the guard. “Your philosophies cannot save you… The love of Christ on the cross where He bled and died... Christ Jesus rose up on the 3rd day- Words of eternal life!
On the 5th hour of watch, the guard committed his life to the Lord. … Glory to the Lord. God has opened one more channel to get his spiritual letter to the churches… Thank You Jesus…
There is nothing impossible with the Lord.

Believe… Read this Word repeatedly…
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21

For God so loved the world.....

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son (Jesus Christ) , that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16 NIV

*A twenty-six word parade of hope: beginning with God, ending with life, and urging us to do the same. Brief enough to write on a piece of paper or memorize in a moment, yet solid enough to weather two thousand years of storms and questions. If you know nothing of the Bible, start here.
John 3:16.
He loves.
He gave.
We believe.
We live.

Christ came, not for the strong, but for the weak; not for the righteous, but for the sinner…He works and we trust, He dies and we live, He invites and we believe.

We believe in Him. “The work God wants you to do is this: Believe the One He sent” (John 6:29 NCV).

Believe in yourself? No. Believe in Him.

Believe in them? No. Believe in Him.

And those who do, those who believe “in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

John 3:16. "What an amazing scripture—God loved us while we were quite unlovable people. He reached out to us when we were unreachable. Knowing that we would fail Him, deny Him, and spurn this unconditional love, He still gave . . . unconditionally!” —Don moen

"I remember vividly that I walked down an aisle in a church one night, without prompting by my parents, and knelt at a humble altar. There through my tears, I gave my heart to Jesus. I was three years old. That night proved to be the highlight of my entire life. The ‘whosoever’ in John 3:16 even extended to a little toddler. Praise the Lord!” ... James dobson

John 3:16 is the North Star of the Bible. If you align your life with it, you can find The Way home.” —Anne Graham lotz

You need to give God your answer: “Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite Him in” (Eph 3:17 MSG). Say yes to Him. Your prayer needs no eloquence, just honesty.

The road to Emmaus

Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. Luke 24:13

Dear, reading and meditation of Bible portion the road to emmaus always encourage me to return to the love of Jesus. Are you away from Him because of suffering or any other reasons?.. Below is an excerpt from writings of ken gire.. Pl read..

O Lord Jesus speak to me. .touch me!!!!!

*But where will they go? For now, anywhere. As long as it is away. Away from the rubble of lives that have fallen apart. Lives that seem impossible to rebuild. Futile to even try. So they go to try to sort things out, to try to understand what went wrong and why, and to try to decide where to go next.

 They could take any of several roads. The road north of Jerusalem leads to Ephraim, but that is too far. The road east leads to Jericho, but that is too dangerous. The road south leads to Bethlehem, but that is too glaring a reminder of all they are wanting to forget. And so they take the road west. The road to Emmaus. The road to Emmaus is the road we take after we’ve been to Golgotha. It’s the road we take when the other roads we’ve taken turn out to be dead ends. It’s the road out of town, the road to getting away from it all. They leave Jerusalem because there is nothing there for them anymore.  So they left.

 But Jesus was walking with them.Then book by book, beginning with Genesis, Jesus rekindles the fire in their lives that suffering has all but extinguished. Step by step, the wood begins to dry. Verse by verse, the sparks find places to live. And by the time they reach Emmaus, their hearts are burning.

The three of them stop at the outskirts of town. The sun has continued on ahead of them, leaving an etching on the horizon where there were once hills. Jesus starts to continue on too, but they beg Him to stay. Which He does. They find a place to stay, and they sit together and start to eat, when suddenly . . . The stranger is the Savior! As soon as they recognize him, though, He vanishes. Though life had caved in on these two men, enough light came through the fallen debris and airborne dust to give them hope. They couldn’t see everything. But they could see Him.And that was enough.

๐Ÿ™ Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You that whatever road I take to get away from the pain in my past, that is the road where You meet me.Thank you that even as I am walking away, You are walking after me. Wanting to draw near. Offering Your companionship. Hoping to clear up the confusion in my life. Thank You for your Word that sheds so much light on whatever road I take. Without it, how would I have ever found my way? Or my way back? Help me to be sensitive to the way you speak to me through that Word.

Show Yourself to me, even if it is only for a moment. For Your presence means more to me than my understanding. And seeing You when life doesn’t make sense is better than not seeing You when it does.

Thank You Jesus! Hallelujah! Amen

Abide with me Lord Jesus......

Two little lines I heard one day,
Traveling along life’s busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart,
And from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.
,.. C. T Studd

*Telemachus, a fourth-century monk who lived in a monastery, felt God calling him to Rome. He couldn't figure out why God would want him in Rome, but he felt the pressure to go. Putting his possessions in a little satchel, he threw the bag over his shoulder and started out over the dusty, westward roads to Rome.When he got to Rome, people were running about the city in great confusion. He had arrived on a day when the gladiators were going to fight both other gladiators and animals in the amphitheater. Everyone was heading to the amphitheater to watch the entertainment.

Telemachus thought this must be why God had called him to Rome. He walked into the amphitheater. He sat down among 80,000 people who cheered as the gladiators came out proclaiming, "'Hail Caesar....

Telemachus got up out of his seat, ran down the steps, climbed over the wall, walked out to the center of the amphitheater, and stood between two large gladiators. Putting his hands up, he meekly cried out, "In the name of Christ, stop!" The crowd laughed and jeered. One of the gladiators slapped Telemachus in the stomach with his sword and sent him spinning off into the dust.

Telemachus got up and again stood between the two huge gladiators. He repeated, "In the name of Christ, stop." This time the crowd chanted "Run him through!" One of the gladiators took his sword and ran it through Telemachus's stomach. He fell into the dust and the sand turned red as blood ran out of him. One last time, Telemachus weakly cried out, "'In the name of Christ, stop." He died on the amphitheater floor.

The crowd grew silent, and within minutes they emptied out of the amphitheater. History records that, thanks to Telemachus, this was the last gladiatorial contest in the history of the Roman Empire.

Only one life, yes only one
Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet,
And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, the still small voice,
Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave,
And to God’s holy will to cleave;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

 Only one life, a few brief years,
Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill,
living for self or in His will;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

When this bright world would tempt me sore,
When Satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way,
Then help me Lord with joy to say

Give me Father, a purpose deep,

In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife,
Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

 Oh let my love with fervor burn,
And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone,
Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;

Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Now let me say,”Thy will be done”;
And when at last I’ll hear the call,

I know I’ll say “twas worth it all”;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

He who seeks his own safety always and everywhere cannot know the sweetness of God's providence. It is impossible to walk in faith without realizing that God is sufficient for all things, and that in Him alone is true security. "

Arise my Beloved.... Song 2:10

Song of songs 1:2..Let Him.. ๐Ÿšช

To enter the doorway of Jesus heart we must begin by saying " Let Him. "God's loving grace means that He will be enough for us. We don't begin by doing but by yeilding.

The shulamite doesn't ask for power, position or promotion. Intimacy with Jesus Christ is more important than anything else He can give us. ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡

Song 1:4 .. Draw me..            ๐Ÿงฒ

The hebrew word "love" is found seven times in this song. Root word means " Rejoice".It is a homonym for " Spinning in a circle or dance".The implication is that we dance for joy when we remember His (Jesus') love.

Song 1:4..we will runaway in to the Kings cloud filled chamber.         ๐Ÿ‘‘

This points us to the Holy of Holies inside the chamber. We worship Him with deep affection falling on our knees before Him.  ☁️ ๐Ÿ’จ

Song 2:4 . His banner covering me was love.

The word "banner" means a military banner and also the banner of the tribe of Israel. We live under the banner of the tribe of love. ๐Ÿšฉ

Song 2: 10.Arise my beloved...

The hebrew word for" arise " (quwm) was used by the High priest when he spoke to the Levites to take up the ark of glory on their shoulders to move it as Israel journeyed through the wilderness...

Song 2:12 The voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land.

The singing of turtle dove is heard only at the time of harvest..  ๐Ÿ•Š

... Let us Arise and Sing a song ๐ŸŽต unto our Lord.

Jesus cares for you!!!

Dear, Are you going through a tough time of stress, strain and anxiety? Look unto Jesus now.. Below is an excerpt from max lucado's upwords daily devotion. Please read... God bless you and calm your heart...

Imagine you are ten years old, and you stumble down the stairs and twist your ankle. You scream for help. Into the room walks your dad, the world’s foremost orthopedic surgeon. He examines the
injury. Your anxiety kicks in. “Dad, I’ll never walkagain.” “Yes, you will.” “No one can help me!” “I can. Do you know what I do for a living?”

Actually you don’t. The next day he drives you to his office and shows you the diplomas on his wall, and you begin to see your father in a different light. If he can conduct orthopedic surgery, he can likely treat a swollen ankle.

“Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure” (Psalm 147:5). Our biggest fears are sprained ankles to God. And a lot of people live with unnecessary anxiety over temporary limps.

Pour out all your worries and stress upon Him and leave them there, for He always tenderly cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
