*As the years quietly pass, some portions of Scripture don’t fade—they deepen. Psalm 23 is one of them. What we once read as familiar words slowly becomes a living experience.
“The Lord is my Shepherd…”
In our life,we see Him as the One who cares, provides, and protects. Like a shepherd gently leading his sheep to green pastures and still waters, He meets our simple needs. He feeds, He restores, He gives rest.
But as life unfolds—with its journeys, turns, and unknown paths—these verses take on new meaning.
“He leads me… He guides me…”(Guide)
We begin to realize that He is not just near us, but actively leading us. Through confusing roads, unexpected valleys, and quiet seasons, His hand is steady. Even in the valley of the shadow, there is no fear—because His presence becomes more real than the darkness around us.
And then, something beautiful happens.
“You prepare a table before me…”
The Shepherd becomes the Host. Not just leading us through life, but inviting us into fellowship. A table prepared—with care, with abundance, even in the presence of enemies. There is peace, honor, and joy. We are not just cared for—we are welcomed, cherished.
From Shepherd… to Guide… to Host.
This is our God.
As the years go by, Psalm 23 is no longer just a passage we read—it becomes a life we live. A journey with Him. A relationship that grows deeper, sweeter, richer.
And quietly, from the heart rises a simple truth:
Jesus is everything we need—yesterday, today, and forever..

Amen... LORD is my shepherd and HE is enough for me ❤️
ReplyDeleteShepherd of my soul I give You full control
Wherever You may lead I will follow
I have made the choice to listen for Your voice
Wherever You may lead I will go
Be it in a quiet pasture or by a gentle breeze
The shepherd of my soul is by my side
Should I face a mighty mountain or a valley dark and deep
The shepherd of my soul will be my guide
Amen, praise the Lord. Lord Jesus you are so beautiful and wonderful and amazing God. How much ever we give thanks for your love, that is not sufficient oh! Lord. Thank you so much for this eternal love. We are blessed to be in Christ Jesus. Amen
