Lord, thank You for all the failures; I could see Your face by that. Lord, thank you for all the tears. I could experience Your presence by that..🎵🎵

 

It was the year 1947. A Bedouin shepherd was in search of his lost sheep in the wilderness.

“Where has my dear sheep gone?”

The much weary shepherd reached the entrance of a cave. He just threw a stone into it.

“Dim…”

He heard the sound of an earthen vessel breaking. With excitement he walked into the cave. Large earthen pots!! One was broken.

What might be inside these vessels?

Oh!! Leather parchments!!

Inscribed in it to full was the Word of God.

Thus that shepherd became a blessing by the discovery of the famed Dead-sea scrolls.  (Dead Sea scrolls… with more than 2000 year old Bible portions)

Are you tired in the path of loss and pain?

Revelations are not that far. The treasure is poured out in the earthen pots…Let us march forward in the path of the Cross.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.2 Corinthians 4:7-10

Thanks for all the experience

Making me a good disciple

Thank you Lord for all defeats

So I could see Your face

Thank you Lord for all the tears

For no I can know your presence

Rose water blooms, on thorns in valley

As lumps of gold in the fiery furnace

In ups and downs

In death and life

Your precious presence is enough

Lord, your presence is enough
