Writer Elizabeth Batson used to send letters to her parents every week after her marriage.
However, she never received a reply for a single letter. For her mom and dad were against her marriage to Browning.
Years later she received a parcel. It came from her home. When she opened it her heart was broken. All the letter she had sent were returned without even opening.
Soon after she died of sickness. Her husband published a book out of all the letters she had written. All those who read the book said: “If even one line of these letters were read by the most cruel person on this earth, he would have cried out loud.”

ReplyDeleteOhhhhh. Indeed the Spirit of God that is within us would be deeply sighing for the portions of God's Love Letter that's not yet read / read but not meditated / read and meditated but not practiced / read, meditated and practiced but without love....
ReplyDeleteLord help us. Let your Agape Love be filled in us. It's impossible to fathom the depths of your Love. But help us to read and meditate your Living Word which gives us insight, life and experience your love.
