Try to visualise with your spiritual eyes the picture of a group of people waiting for the bridegroom who is coming out of the vineyard. Suddenly they realise that it is not one person but two people who are coming from a distance.

The bridesmaids asked each other with great excitement: “Who are these two people … the groom and …?” Who is she who is coming out of the desert leaning on to her **(his)Beloved?

Look, it is no one else than --------------, she is the one leaning on to His bosom, listening to the heartbeats of her Beloved … it is none other than -------------------------. 

Another of the maids looked into the horizon and ascertained who the two people were who were coming up …. Yes, it is ------------, it is definitely her, who else can it be? Look, she is resting on the bosom of Jesus Christ, her Beloved. 

A third maid added … yes, it is definitely ………………., it is her indeed!

On this wilderness journey she has no one else to lean on, other than her Jesus!

Even though believers have fervent desires and are stirred to seek the Lord, yet they cannot but become conscious at the same time of an inadequate measure of strength for such arduous pursuit. The power to pursue is not just the power given by the Holy Spirit and deposited within us to enable us to seek Him. It is not that alone. Rather, it is a revelation of the Lord Jesus given by the Holy Spirit as outside and way beyond us, and thus drawing us to Himself by His own beauty and magnificent glory. The drawing power of the Person of the Lord Jesus Himself generates the pursuing power in us. If the Lord draws us by the revelation of Himself through His Spirit, then the seeking after Him is relatively easy. If the Lord draws, then “we will run after thee.” To run after means a continuous desire. It is the attracting power of the Lord Himself which alone creates the continuous power to so seek and so run. This is something we must learn and understand. No man of His own volition is able to seek out and come into the realized presence of the Lord of glory.

When we were yet sinners we needed the leading of the Holy Spirit, and only by His help were we able to come to the Lord. Likewise, after we have become believers, we still need that same help in order to run after the Lord with continuous desire.

Here also we see a believer’s relationship to all other believers. It is I who am drawn (“draw me”), but it is we who run after Him. It is I who am being led into the inner chambers, but it is we who will “be glad and rejoice. ”Whenever the individual believer receives grace from the presence of the Lord, then other believers cannot but receive favorable impressions......

And you shall remember all the ways in which the LORD your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, in order to humble you, putting you to the test, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. Deuteronomy 8:2

In days of trials and challenges, when all paths are uncertain and when it seems impossible to move forward, the Lord has one thing to tell us … ‘Remember’!

We should remember the ways the Lord led us through all the years that have gone by. We need to thank Him; then we will receive the strength to move on. 

Yet the Lord says, “During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet.Deuteronomy 29:5 

A study conducted by a General in the US army reveals these facts:

For forty years the Lord led thirty lakhs of people in an awesome manner. They required 1500 tonnes of food per day, which is equal to two goods trains of food. If the food for one person per day cost 1 dollar, it took 9 million dollars per day for the food alone. Cooking for that many people required 4000 tonnes of firewood, and everyday demanded 10 million gallons (1 gallon = 3.7 lit) of water.

Yet the Lord provided for them every day and they lacked nothing … manna, quail, water … pillar of cloud and pillar of fire… praise the Lord!

We serve the very same God! No one is able to grasp completely the ways the Lord has led you all these years … sickness, dangers, face to face encounters with death, attacks of the evil one, temptations to sin, days when you decided you do not want to live, times when you could not take even a single step forward.

But the Lord held your hand and led you up to this point! Jesus is able to lead you into eternity!

‘Remember’ … the ways in which the Lord led you in the days of the past! Hallelujah!

For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end.Psalms 48:14 

 

Charles Colson, the founder of Prison Fellowship, describes one of his experiences in life in this manner:

After an overnight flight to Jakarta, Colson had to wait in a long queue at the airport. It made him very tired; and though it was a hot day, Colson, being a believer in God, stayed calm. 

However, there was someone in that airport who was observing Mr Colson. He was a senior partner in a Singapore based law firm. Having a Chinese background and rooted in the tradition of Confucianism, this man had no knowledge of Christianity. But his children used to attend Sunday school at a church. He recognised that one of the books his children brought back home from their Sunday school, had a picture of the man standing calmly in the queue. He decided to go home and read the book, though he did not try to get to know or talk to Colson.

Two years later, Charles received a letter which read like this: ‘I read the book titled ‘Born Again’, written by the man who stood calm in a long and tedious queue, and I gave my life to Jesus Christ. Many thanks!’

Let us spread the aroma of Christ everywhere in these unfortunate times!

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 2 Corinthians 2:14-15

"ഞാൻ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം നിങ്ങളെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നടത്തി; നിങ്ങൾ ഉടുത്തിരുന്ന വസ്ത്രം ജീർണിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; കാലിലെ ചെരുപ്പ് പഴകിയിട്ടുമില്ല."

ഒരു ദിവസം ഏകദേശം 1500 ടൺ ഭക്ഷണം വേണം. 2 ഗുഡ്സ് ട്രെയിനുകൾ നിറച്ചും ഭക്ഷണം വിതരണം ചെയ്താലേ ഇതു സാധ്യമാവുകയുള്ളു.
ഒരു നേരത്തെആഹാരത്തിന് ഒരാൾക്ക് ഒരു ഡോളർ ചെലവായാൽ ദിവസം 9 മില്യൻ ഡോളർ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന് മാത്രമായി ചിലവഴിക്കേണ്ടി വരും.
ആഹാരം പാകം ചെയ്യുവാൻ ദിവസേന 4000 ടൺ വിറക് വേണം.
ഓരോ ദിവസവും 11 മില്യൻ ഗാലൻസ് വെള്ളം ആവശ്യമാണ്.(1 gallon..3.7 litres)

എന്നാൽ ഒരു ദിവസം പോലും കുറവ് വരാതെ ദൈവം അവരെ പുലർത്തി.
മന്ന, കാടപ്പക്ഷി, വെള്ളം, ..... മേഘസ്തംഭം, അഗ്നിത്തൂൺ ...... ദൈവത്തിന് മഹത്വം!

ഇതേ ദൈവത്തെയാണ് നാം സേവിക്കുന്നത്.
ഇന്നു വരെ ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെ നടത്തിയ വിധങ്ങൾ മറ്റൊരാൾക്കും പൂർണ്ണമായി അറിയില്ല.
രോഗങ്ങൾ, അപകടങ്ങൾ, മരണത്തെ മുഖാമുഖം കണ്ട നിമിഷങ്ങൾ,പൈശാചിക പോരാട്ടം, പാപ പ്രലോഭനങ്ങൾ, ഇനി ജീവിതം വേണ്ട എന്നു ചിന്തിച്ച ദിവസങ്ങൾ ......
മുൻപോട്ട് ഒരു ചുവട് പോലും വയ്ക്കാൻ കഴിയാതെ തളർന്ന നിമിഷങ്ങൾ ....

എന്നാൽ ദൈവം കൈപിടിച്ച് ഇവിടെ വരെ എത്തിച്ചു .നിത്യത വരെയും യേശു കർത്താവ് നിങ്ങളെ നടത്താൻ മതിയായവൻ!

"ഓർക്കുക " .... കഴിഞ്ഞ നാളുകളിൽ ദൈവം നടത്തിയ വഴികൾ! ഹാലേലൂയ്യാ !!

ഈ ദൈവം എന്നും എന്നേക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; അവൻ നമ്മെ ജീവപര്യന്തം വഴിനടത്തും.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 48: 14

In the past few days I noticed one thing as I went out from my home; there was none smiling, none laughing. I saw many faces on the roads, and in shops. They all were gloomy.

Some were struggling to smile through.

As you read this report, does your heart rejoice or does a smile appear on your face? Are you going through such tough situations as these? If so,

      I have a good news for you..

       Jesus Loves you!

 A child of God can rejoice in His Lord. The bride of Christ can say..

1)   I am the rose of Sharon and a lily of the valley .Song of songs 2:1

The Hebrew text says, “a rose of Sharon.” The word Sharon can be translated “His song.” She now sees herself as the one He sings over. Glory to God ! The Lord of heaven and earth rejoices over me and I am HIS SONG!!

On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Fear not, O Zion;  let not your hands grow weak. The Lord your God is in your midst,  a mighty One who will save;  He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3 :16 - 17 

2)I am His beloved...

"My beloved is mine, and I am His. He feeds His  flock among the lilies. Song of Solomon 2 :16 "

 The Hebrew word, usually translated “beloved,” is taken from a root word that means “to boil.” The implication is that the beloved causes her heart to boil over with passion.

Look at the love of Jesus for you on the cross. Let our heart boil with deep love and passion for Him..

The watchman called out to the king and reported it.The king said, “If he is alone, he must have good news.” And the runner came closer and closer.Then the watchman saw another runner, and he called down to the gatekeeper, “Look, another man running alone!”The king said, “He must be bringing good news, too.” 2 Samuel 18:25-26.

In the Old Testament times, the runner who brought news about victory from the battlefield is called the bearer or messenger of good news. In those days there were no news broadcasters like we have today, and so when victory was won, it was very important for the victorious side to send a messenger to deliver the good news. So, forgetting everything he would run with all his might to convey the news to the king and all people. His desire to see all people rejoice greatly over the victory, must have strengthened him to run as fast as he could.

However, the greatest ‘good news’ ever announced is the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the good news of the victory of our Lord Jesus who defeated death, after He disarmed the powers and authorities and triumphed over them by the cross. 

In chapter 10 of the letter written to the Romans, Paul describes very clearly the gospel of our Lord Jesus. But who will make it known to all people?How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10: 14-15.

Not only that we read in Ephesians 6:15 that we should put on as shoes for our feet, but the readiness also given by the gospel of peace.

That is why centuries ago prophet Isaiah proclaimed loudly: 

How delightful on the mountains are the feet of one who brings good news,Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness,Who announces salvation,And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

Millions of people are waiting to hear this good news. The door of the ark is about to close. At least today would you tell the Lord?

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” 

Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

It  is  good to give thanks to the Lord , And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night, On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound. Psalms 92: 1-3

Thomas Obadiah Chisholm was born into an ordinary family. As a teacher and newspaper editor he could make just enough money to meet his living expenses. By the Lord’s grace, at the age of 27, he believed in the Lord Jesus and was saved. Though he was tormented by many physical ailments, he was able to write songs that have been a blessing to many, the most famous among them being ‘Great is Thy faithfulness’ which he wrote when he was 57 years.

Right to the very end of his life, Chisholm continued to sing of the faithfulness of the Lord, never forgetting any of the small or big favours that the Lord had done in his life. What an excellent example!

The song begins with a description of the unfailing faithfulness of the Lord; He is my Father;He never changes; how great is the faithfulness of the Eternal God! God of all lights, your love is new every morning, it never fades. He goes on to thank the Lord for great blessing that His beautiful creations are! Everything in creation describes the goodness of the Lord!

I give praise to You, O Lord, because you forgave all my sins. Your presence is always with me; You give me the strength I need for today, and the heavenly hope that helps me face tomorrow with courage, and for all these, my Abba Father, I thank you a thousand times! Yes, Lord, your faithfulness is great indeed!It is because of the Lord’s mercies that we have not perished!

The LORD’S acts of mercy indeed do not end,For His compassions do not fail.They are new every morning;Great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Every good thing given, and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:17

Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to Thee

Sarah Flower Adams was someone who went through many hardships in her life. Her mother passed away when she was five years old, and when her sister Elisa was suffering from tuberculosis, Sarah took great care of her and yet her sister passed away. Two years later, the forty-three-year-old Sarah also departed from this world having suffered from tuberculosis. But it was after leaving us a beautiful song that she left this world. 

And that song is, ‘Nearer my God to Thee’.

Sarah found great delight in composing songs. One day, a man of God, after he had taught Genesis 28: 10 – 19, encouraged Sarah to write a song based on the text. In the years to come, that song turned out to be a song that drew many hearts to the Lord. It is believed that when Titanic was sinking, the crew in the ship was singing this song in those last moments of their lives.

This song, which is rather forgotten these days, awakened my heart!  And may all our hearts be awakened by the dream that Jacob saw when, alone in the desert, he lay down and rested his head on a stone. Yes, the Lord is with me, this place is the Bethel, the house of the Lord, and in these days of trials and sorrows, let us stand nearer and nearer to the Lord!

Lord, may my heart draw nearer to You … let me bear Your cross and let this be my only song … my loneliness, my wounds, my pains, disappointments, worries, emptiness … Lord, words can’t express them. Yet in my dreams, in all my ways, in all my afflictions … nearer to Thee, my Lord! 

Or Lord, if You call me, or if the promise of Your coming is fulfilled … whatever may happen, may my song be this alone: Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to Thee …

And even when my soul soars high across the skies, sovereign Lord, my song is nothing but ‘Nearer my Lord to Thee’.

കാവൽക്കാരൻ രാജാവിനോടു വിളിച്ച് അറിയിച്ചു. അവൻ ഏകൻ എങ്കിൽ സദ്വർത്തമാനവും കൊണ്ടാകുന്നു വരുന്നത് എന്നു രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ നടന്നടുത്തു. പിന്നെ കാവൽക്കാരൻ മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ ഓടി വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു; കാവൽക്കാരൻ വാതിൽ കാക്കുന്നവനോട്: ഇതാ, പിന്നെയും ഒരു ആൾ തനിച്ച് ഓടി വരുന്നു എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു. അവനും സദ്വർത്തമാനദൂതനാകുന്നു എന്നു രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു. 2 ശമൂവേൽ 18 :25‭-‬26 

പഴയ നിയമ കാലത്ത് യുദ്ധം നടക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്ന് തങ്ങൾക്ക് ലഭിച്ച വിജയത്തിന്റെ "നല്ല വാർത്ത " മറ്റുള്ളവരെ അറിയിക്കുന്നവനാണ് സുവാർത്താ ദൂതൻ.
ഇന്നത്തെപ്പോലെ ഒരു വാർത്താവിനിമയ സംവിധാനവും ഇല്ലാത്ത കാലം.
യുദ്ധം ജയിച്ചു കഴിയുമ്പോൾ അത് മറ്റുള്ളവരെ എത്രയും വേഗം അറിയിക്കണം എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെ അവർ എല്ലാം മറന്ന് വളരെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഓടുമായിരുന്നു.
" വിജയത്തിന്റെ വാർത്ത " എല്ലാവരും അറിഞ്ഞ് സന്തോഷിക്കേണം എന്ന ആഗ്രഹം അവരെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തി എന്നു ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നു.

എന്നാൽ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ "ഗുഡ് ന്യൂസ് " കർത്താവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷമാണ്.2000 വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പ് വാഴ്ചകളെയും അധികാരങ്ങളേയും ആയുധവർഗ്ഗം വെയ്പ്പിച്ച, മരണത്തെ ജയിച്ച നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവിന്റെ ജയം!!

റോമർക്ക് എഴുതിയ ലേഖനം 10-ാം അദ്ധ്യായം സുവിശേഷം എന്താണെന്ന് വ്യക്തമായി വിവരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ ഇത് ആര് മറ്റുള്ളവരെ അറിയിക്കും?

"എന്നാൽ തങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തവനെ അവർ എങ്ങനെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും? കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തവനിൽ അവർ എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിക്കും? ആരെങ്കിലും പ്രസംഗിക്കാതെ എങ്ങനെ കേൾക്കും? അയയ്ക്കപ്പെടാതെ എങ്ങനെ പ്രസംഗിക്കും? “സുവാർത്ത ഘോഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ പാദം എത്ര മനോഹരം!” എന്ന് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നല്ലോ.

അതു മാത്രമല്ല "സമാധാനസുവിശേഷത്തിനായുള്ള ഒരുക്കം കാലിന് ചെരുപ്പായി "ധരിക്കണം എന്ന് എ ഫേസ്യർ 6: 15 -ൽ നാം വായിക്കുന്നു.

അതു കൊണ്ടാണ് യെശയ്യാവു് നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകൾക്ക് മുമ്പ് വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞത് ...

ഈ സുവാർത്ത (ഗുഡ് ന്യൂസ് ) കേൾക്കുവാൻ ആയിരങ്ങൾ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു .പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽ അടയാറായി . ഇന്നെങ്കിലും ദൈവത്തോട് പറയുമോ?

"അനന്തരം “ഞാൻ ആരെ അയയ്ക്കേണ്ടു? ആര് നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി പോകും?” എന്നു ചോദിക്കുന്ന കർത്താവിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടിട്ട്: “അടിയൻ ഇതാ അടിയനെ അയയ്ക്കേണമേ” എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

Today in this world many are going through discouragement, depression and deep mental anguish. We hear only distressing news, from morning till evening. In the midst of these, a child of God can still rejoice in His Lord Jesus.

The bride of Christ is getting ready to meet the Bridegroom. And the prayer of this day is "Draw me in to Your heart, O Lord". We will run away together into the inner chamber.

The Hebrew text literally means “the king’s chamber inside of a chamber.” This points us to the Holy of Holies inside the temple chamber. No distractions there, the glory filled place is so calm and we are enjoying His divine presence. Grace and peace are overflowing into the bride's heart.

What will happen next? We will rejoice in our Lord!Hebrew root word for “rejoice” ( gyl ) is a homonym for “spinning in a circle or dance.”The implication is that we dance for joy when we remember his love.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.Psalm 16: 11

When one person is rejoicing in the Lord, he will draw others to worship God and sing joyful songs to Him.

ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിലേക്ക്, എന്റെ പരമാനന്ദമായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്ക് ചെല്ലും; ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, കിന്നരം കൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും.സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ. 43: 4 

''പരമ സീയോനിലേക്കുള്ള മരുഭൂ യാത്രയിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിന്റെ അനുഭവ വിശേഷങ്ങളാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ നമ്മെ അത്യാനന്ദ വിവശരാക്കുന്ന ആ സ്നേഹ ശക്തിയെ പലരും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല .പ്രാണപ്രിയനോടുള്ള ദാഹത്താൽ ഉളളം ജ്വലിക്കയും യേശുവിന്റെ പ്രീതി വാത്സല്യം ജീവനേക്കാൾ നല്ലതാണെന്ന് ആസ്വദിച്ചറിയുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടം സാധുക്കൾ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ ഉണ്ട് .എന്റെ പരമാനന്ദമായ ദൈവം എന്നു പറയുന്ന ശബ്ദം അവരുടേതാകുന്നു ."

അനേകം ക്രിസ്ത്രീയ ഗാനങ്ങൾ രചിച്ച 'സാധു കൊച്ചു കുഞ്ഞ് ഉപദേശിയുടെ ' വാക്കുകളാണ് മുകളിൽ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചത്. " മഹത്വത്തിൽ ആർദ്രവാനായി ജീവിക്കുന്നത് തന്റെ സ്വർഗ്ഗീയ പിതാവാണ് എന്ന ഉറപ്പ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ജീവിതത്തിലെ കഠിനമായ ശോധനകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിലും കർത്താവിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുവാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനറിയാമായിരുന്നു..... പരമാനന്ദ ക്രിസ്തീയ ജീവിതം അദ്ദേഹം വിവരിക്കുന്നതി പ്രകാരമാണ് .......

1) ഏകാന്തമായ ധ്യാനത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് ദൈവത്തോടുള്ള കൂട്ടായ്മയും ധ്യാനവും എത്ര ആനന്ദകരമാകുന്നു.
2) ശ്രദ്ധാപൂർവ്വം തിരുവചനത്തിൽ ഓരോ ഭാഗങ്ങൾ വായിക്കുന്നത് ഭക്തന് എത്ര ഇമ്പ കരമാണ് .
3) ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ജീവനുള്ള വചനങ്ങളാൽ ആരോടെങ്കിലും ഇടപെട്ടു കൊണ്ടിരിപ്പാൻ ഭക്തനു ലഭിക്കുന്ന അവസരം എത്ര മാധുര്യമേറിയത്!
4) പ്രേമകരങ്ങളായ ധ്യാനമൊഴികളാൽ രചിതങ്ങളായ സംഗീതങ്ങൾ പാടുന്നതിൽ എത്ര ആനന്ദം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു.
5) ദൈവം നമുക്കായി നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്ന വാഗ്ദത്തങ്ങളെ ധ്യാനിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു ഉല്ലാസം നമ്മിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുകയും സ്നേഹ രസത്തിൽ സമൃദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
6) നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവിന്റെ രണ്ടാം വരവിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയും ധ്യാനങ്ങളും ഭക്തനിൽ ആനന്ദം ഉളവാക്കുന്നു
7 ) സകലത്തിനും മീതെ മനസ്സലിവുകളുടെ പിതാവായ മഹാദൈവം നമുക്ക് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള മഹാകാരുണ്യങ്ങളെ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നത് എത്ര ആനന്ദമാകുന്നു.

കർത്താവിന് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നതും അത്യുന്നതനായുള്ളോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ കീർത്തിക്കുന്നതും പത്തു കമ്പിയുള്ള വാദിത്രംകൊണ്ടും വീണകൊണ്ടും ഗംഭീരസ്വരമുള്ള കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടും രാവിലെ നിന്റെ ദയയെയും രാത്രിതോറും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും വർണിക്കുന്നതും നല്ലത്. സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 92 :1‭-‬3 

തോമസ് ഒബദ്യാ ചിസോം ഒരു സാധാരണ കുടുംബത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു വളർത്തപ്പെട്ടു. ഒരു അധ്യാപകനായും പത്രത്തിന്റെ എഡിറ്ററായും ജോലി ചെയ്ത അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നിത്യ ചെലവിനുള്ള ശമ്പളം മാത്രമേ ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നുള്ളു. ദൈവകൃപയാൽ 27-മത്തെ വയസ്സിൽ കർത്താവായ യേശുവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ച് രക്ഷപ്രാപിപ്പാൻ ഇടയായി.
ശാരീരിക അസ്വസ്ഥതകൾ ജീവിതത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അലട്ടിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ട അനേകം ഗാനങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹം എഴുതി .അതിൽ ഏറ്റവും പ്രശസ്തമായ ഒരനുഗൃഹീത ഗാനമാണ് 57 വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹം രചിച്ചത്..

"Great is Thy faithfulness "

ദൈവം ജീവിതത്തിൽ ചെയ്ത ചെറുതും വലുതുമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഒന്നും മറക്കാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ ഓർത്ത് സ്തുതിക്കാൻ അദ്ദേഹം ജീവിതാന്ത്യം വരെ ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്നു.
വളരെ നല്ല ഒരു മാതൃക.!

ഗാനത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭത്തിൽ കർത്താവിന്റെ മാറ്റമില്ലാത്ത വിശ്വസ്തയെ വർണ്ണിക്കുന്നു.
അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ പിതാവാണ് .അങ്ങേക്ക് ഒരിക്കലും മാറ്റമില്ല .അനന്യനായ അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തത എത്ര വലിയത് .വെളിച്ചങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവേ ഓരോ പ്രഭാതത്തിലും അങ്ങയുടെ
സ്നേഹം പുതിയതാണ്. അത് ഒരിക്കലും അസ്തമിക്കുന്നില്ല.
തുടർന്ന് ദൈവം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിലൂടെ ലഭിച്ച നൻമകളോർത്ത് നന്ദി പറയുന്നു .എല്ലാം അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ വർണ്ണിക്കുന്നു .

എന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം ക്ഷമിച്ച കർത്താവിന് സ്തോത്രം. അങ്ങയുടെ സാമീപ്യം എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ കൂടെയുണ്ട്. ഇന്നേ ദിവസം വേണ്ട ശക്തിയും നാളെയെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കാൻ തന്ന സ്വർഗ്ഗീയ പ്രത്യാശക്കായും ഒരായിരം നന്ദി അബ്ബാ പിതാവേ!!
അതേ കർത്താവേ അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്ത വലിയതു തന്നേ !!!

നാം നശിച്ചുപോകാതിരിക്കുന്നത് കർത്താവിന്റെ ദയ ആകുന്നു; അവിടുത്തെ കരുണ തീർന്ന് പോയിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ;  അത് രാവിലെതോറും പുതിയതും അവിടുത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തത വലിയതും ആകുന്നു.

വിലാപങ്ങൾ 3 :22‭-‬23

എല്ലാ നല്ല ദാനവും പൂർണ്ണവരം ഒക്കെയും ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്ന്, വെളിച്ചങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിങ്കൽനിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്നു. അവന് ചാഞ്ചല്യമോ, നിഴൽ മാറുന്നതു പോലുള്ള മാറ്റമോ ഇല്ല. യാക്കോബ് 1 :17

Under Joshua’s leadership the children of Israel took possession of the land of Canaan. And then the land was divided among the different tribes of Israel. 

However, an amazing incident happened in the family of Joseph’s son Manasseh! 

“Then the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph, came forward; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. They stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, before the leaders, and all the congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying, “Our father died in the wilderness, yet he was not among the group of those who gathered together against the LORD, in the group of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons. Why should the name of our father be withdrawn from among his family simply because he had no son? Give us property among our father’s brothers.” Numbers 27:1-4

1. These five sisters were convinced about their inheritance.

2. They did not justify the sin of their father.

3. They had a good understanding of the law that Moses had commanded.

4. They not only obtained their inheritance, but they also obeyed the law of Moses for the  glory of the name of the Lord. And they all became wives to men from the tribe of their fathers.

‘This is what the LORD has commanded regarding the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them marry whomever they wish; only they must marry within the family of the tribe of their father.’ ‘And every daughter who comes into possession of an inheritance of any tribe of the sons of Israel shall marry one of the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers.’ ‘Just as the LORD had commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad did: Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad married their uncles’ sons. They married those from the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained with the tribe of the family of their father.’ Numbers 36: 6,8, 10 - 12.

Our Lord is coming soon. His saints have an inheritance in His light. Let us not stray left or right from the Word of God. May the Word of God be glorified through our lives!!

 

പ്രിസൺ ഫെലോഷിപ്പിന്റെ സ്ഥാപകനായ ചാൾസ് കോൾസൺ തന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഒരു സംഭവം ഇപ്രകാരം വിവരിക്കുന്നു.

'ഒരു രാത്രി മുഴുവൻ വിമാന യാത്ര കഴിഞ്ഞ് ജക്കാർത്തയിലെ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ വളരെ ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള ഒരു ക്യൂവിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നിൽക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. ചാൾസ് വളരെ ക്ഷീണിതനായിരുന്നു. അന്ന് വളരെ ഉഷ്ണമുള്ള ഒരു ദിവസമായിരുന്നു .
എന്നാൽ ഈ അവസ്ഥയിലും ദൈവഭക്തനായ അദ്ദേഹം വളരെ ശാന്തനായി ആ ക്യൂവിൽ നിന്നു.

എന്നാൽ ആ എയർപോട്ടിൽ ഒരാൾ ചാൾസ് കോൾസനെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സിംഗപ്പൂർ കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു നിയമ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ സീനിയർ പാർട്‌ണർ ആയിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. ചൈനീസ് പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള കൺഫൂഷ്യൻ വിഭാഗത്തിലായിരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്ന് ക്രിസ്തീയ വിശ്വാസത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിവില്ലായിരുന്നു .എന്നാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾ ഒരു സഭയിൽ സൺഡേ സ്കൂളിൽ പോയിരുന്നു .അവർ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ കണ്ട ചിത്രം അടുത്ത ക്യൂവിൽ ശാന്തനായി നിൽക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തിയുടേതാണ് എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു. വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നാൽ ആ പുസ്തകം വായിക്കണം എന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചു.( ചാൾസിനെ പരിചയപ്പെടാനോ സംസാരിക്കുവാനോ അദ്ദേഹം ആ സമയം ശ്രമിച്ചില്ല )

2 വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം ഒരു എഴുത്ത് ചാൾസ് കോൾസന് ലഭിച്ചു. അതിൽ ഇപ്രകാരം എഴുതിയിരുന്നു .അന്ന് ജക്കാർത്ത എയർപോർട്ടിൽ തിരക്കുള്ള ക്യൂവിൽ ശാന്തനായി നിന്ന താങ്കളുടെ ഒരു പുസ്തകം ഞാൻ വായിച്ചു (Born Again - Charles Colson) .ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജീവിതം യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനായി സമർപ്പിച്ചു!!!.. വളരെ നന്ദി!

ഈ ദുർഘട സമയത്ത് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സൗരഭ്യം നമ്മിലൂടെ എല്ലാടത്തും പരക്കട്ടെ..

ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ എപ്പോഴും ജയോത്സവമായി നടത്തുകയും എല്ലാടത്തും ഞങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു തന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വാസന വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തോത്രം. രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിലും നശിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിലും ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിനു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സൗരഭ്യവാസന ആകുന്നു;

Is there no balm in Gilead?Is there no physician there?Why then has not the health of the daughter of my people been restored?Jeremiah 8: 22

The verse above come flashing into our mind when we see the pain of the many sick people, around us. Gilead is a place where there is an abundance of medicinal herbs. 

If you take the bark of a tree from Gilead and crush it, the fluid that comes out of it is of great medicinal value, fragrant medicine!! It spreads a rich fragrance around!

In the Book of Genesis, the brothers of Joseph pulled him out of the pit they had thrown him into and sold him to Ishmaelite traders for 20 silver coins. These traders were coming from Gilead with their camels carrying labdanum resin, balsam, and myrrh and going down to Egypt [Genesis 37: 25]. Joseph, who was sold as a slave must have been greatly soothed throughout the journey by the fragrant herbs and myrrh from Gilead.

If the fragrance that flowed out of a crushed tree calmed and comforted Joseph’s shattered heart, Joseph’s life, though marked by many trials, went on to become a source of fragrance and comfort to many. 

Our blessed Lord was crushed and wounded and humiliated and crucified for our sake! But how great is the fragrance that Jesus spreads! Indescribable!! He is the balm of Gilead. The fragrance of His perfume is pleasing, and His name is like perfume poured out.

In these days we might be going through many difficult situations. When Mary broke the alabaster jar, the sweet fragrance filled the entire house. Similarly, we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 2 Corinthians 2: 15.

Let us joyfully proclaim in these days … Jesus is the balm and physician of Gilead …. the Great Physician who can heal all our diseases!

Let us sing wholeheartedly; ‘Your name is like perfume poured out, it spreads its sweet fragrance around the world. So, make me also a sweet fragrance in the midst of the blame, shame, trials and sorrows of my life. And I will bless Your name all my life, my Beloved!!

 Be satisfied in The Lord Jesus Christ.

1) Situations are always changing,i must not be dependent upon my situations but my complete trust be in my God.

You are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble, You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
Psalm 32: 7

2)Only thing matters is My relationship with My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.
Psalm 27: 4

3)God is my Father .He will never leave or forsake me..

Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?
Matthew 6: 26

4)God's will and God's ways are perfect.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55 :8‭-‬9

5)Every situation in my life is unfolding God's love,goodness and grace .

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.
Romans 8: 28‭-‬29

6)I must regard circumstances as a part of God's perfecting work in me.

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
Philippians 1: 6

7)whatever the condition in my life i am facing today it is only temporary .And they can never rob me of the joy and the glory to come.

നിന്നോടെൻ ദൈവമേ ഞാൻ ചേരട്ടെ ......"

 

സാറാ ഫ്ലവർ ആഡംസ് വളരെ കഷ്ടതകളിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോയ ഒരാളാണ് .5 വയസ്സ് പ്രായമുള്ളപ്പോൾ അവളുടെ അമ്മ മരിച്ചു പോയി. തന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ എലീസ ക്ഷയരോഗത്താൽ ബാധിക്കപ്പെട്ട നാളുകളിൽ സാറാ അവളെ സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചു.എങ്കിലും എലീസ  ഈ ലോകം വിട്ടു കടന്നു പോയി. രണ്ടു വർഷങ്ങൾ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ 43 വയസ്സുള്ള സാറായും ക്ഷയരോഗത്താൽ ബാധിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മാറ്റപ്പെട്ടു എങ്കിലും മനോഹരമായ ഒരു ഗാനം നമുക്ക് നൽകിയിട്ടാണ് അവൾ യാത്രയായത്.

ഏതാണ് ആ ഗാനം?
"നിന്നോടെൻ ദൈവമേ ഞാൻ ചേരട്ടെ ......"

തന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഗാനങ്ങൾ രചിക്കുന്നതിൽ സാറാ ആനന്ദം കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഒരിക്കൽ ഉല്പത്തി പുസ്തകം 28 : 10- 19വരെയുള്ള വേദഭാഗം പഠിപ്പിച്ച കർത്തൃ ദാസൻ ഈ ഭാഗത്തെ ആധാരമാക്കി ഒരു ഗാനം രചിക്കാൻ സാറയെ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചു.
പിൽക്കാലത്ത് അനേകഹൃദയങ്ങളെ ദൈവത്തോട് അടുപ്പിച്ച ഒരു ഗാനമായി അത് മാറി. ടൈറ്റാനിക് കപ്പൽ മുങ്ങുന്ന സമയം ഈ ഗാനം ക്വയർ ആലപിച്ചു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഈ നാളുകളിൽ മറന്നു കിടന്ന ഈ ഗാനം എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ തട്ടിയുണർത്തുന്നു.
യാക്കോബ് ഏകനായി ഒരു കല്ല് തലയണയായി വച്ച് കിടന്നുറങ്ങിയ രാത്രി അവൻ കണ്ട സ്വപ്നം നമ്മെ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ.
അതേ ദൈവം എന്നോട് കൂടെയുണ്ട്. ഇത് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭവനമായ ബെഥേലാണ്.
കഷ്ടതയുടെ ഈ നാളുകളിൽ നമുക്ക് കർത്താവിനോട് ചേർന്നിരിക്കാം.

"നിന്നോടെൻ ദൈവമേ ഞാൻ ചേരട്ടെ .നിന്റെ ക്രൂശ് ഞാൻ വഹിക്കാം. എന്റെ പാട്ട് എന്നും ഇതു മാത്രം. എന്റെ ഏകാന്തത, മുറിവുകൾ, വേദനകൾ, നിരാശ, ആകുലത, ശൂന്യത .... പറയാൻ വാക്കുകളില്ല കർത്താവേ.!
എങ്കിലും എന്റെ സ്വപ്നത്തിലും ,എല്ലാ വഴികളിലും, തുമ്പങ്ങളിലും .... നിന്നോടെൻ ദൈവമേ ഞാൻ ചേരട്ടെ!
അല്ല കർത്താവേ നീ എന്നെ വിളിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ, നിന്റെ വരവ് സംഭവിക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഏതായാലും എന്റെ ഗാനം ഒന്നു മാത്രം.

5 ആകാശമാർഗ്ഗമായ് മഹോന്നതേ

നിന്നോടെൻ ദൈവമേ ഞാൻ ചേർന്നിടും

യോശുവയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ യിസ്രായേൽ ജനം കനാൻ ദേശം സ്വന്തമാക്കി. തുടർന്ന് ദേശം പല ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്കായി വിഭാഗിച്ചു നൽകി.

എന്നാൽ യോസേഫിന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ നടന്ന ഒരു സംഭവം ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്.

'അനന്തരം യോസേഫിന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളിൽ മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ മകനായ ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ മകനായ ഹേഫെരിന്റെ മകനായ സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ അടുത്തുവന്നു. അവന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ മഹ്ലാ, നോവാ, ഹൊഗ്ലാ, മിൽക്കാ, തിർസ്സാ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. അവർ സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ മോശെയുടെയും എലെയാസാർ പുരോഹിതന്റെയും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെയും സർവസഭയുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നു പറഞ്ഞത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽവച്ചു മരിച്ചുപോയി; എന്നാൽ അവൻ യഹോവയ്ക്കു വിരോധമായി കോരഹിനോടു കൂടിയവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ചേർന്നിരുന്നില്ല; അവൻ സ്വന്തപാപത്താൽ അത്രേ മരിച്ചത്; അവനു പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുമില്ല. ഞങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനു മകൻ ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ട് അവന്റെ പേർ കുടുംബത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഇല്ലാതെയാകുന്നത് എന്ത്? അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു അവകാശം തരേണം.'
സംഖ്യാപുസ്തകം 27: 1‭-‬4 

1)ഈ അഞ്ചു സഹോദരിമാർ തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ബോധ്യമുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു
2) തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ പാപത്തെ അവർ ന്യായീകരിച്ചില്ല.
3) മോശെ കല്പിച്ച ന്യായപ്രമാണം സംബന്ധിച്ച് അവർ നല്ല അറിവുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.
4) തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശം സ്വന്തമാക്കി എന്നതു മാത്രമല്ല ദൈവനാമ മഹത്വത്തിനായി മോശെയുടെ കല്പനയെ അവർ അനുസരിച്ചു.
അവർ എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവർക്ക് ഭാര്യമാരായിത്തീർന്നു.

"യഹോവ സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ 

പുത്രിമാരെക്കുറിച്ചു കല്പിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം എന്തെന്നാൽ: അവർ തങ്ങൾക്കു ബോധിച്ചവർക്കു ഭാര്യമാരായിരിക്കട്ടെ; എങ്കിലും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഗോത്രത്തിലെ കുടുംബത്തിലുള്ളവർക്കു മാത്രമേ ആകാവൂ. യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പിതൃഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ അവകാശത്തോടു ചേർന്നിരിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അവകാശം കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിനു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ യാതൊരു ഗോത്രത്തിലും അവകാശം ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഏതു കന്യകയും തന്റെ പിതൃഗോത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തനു ഭാര്യയാകേണം. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ ചെയ്തു. സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരായ മഹ്ലാ, തിർസ്സാ, ഹൊഗ്ലാ, മിൽക്കാ, നോവാ എന്നിവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കു ഭാര്യമാരായി. യോസേഫിന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളിൽ അവർ ഭാര്യമാരാകയും അവരുടെ അവകാശം അവരുടെ പിതൃകുടുംബത്തിന്റെ ഗോത്രത്തിൽതന്നെ ഇരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു."

നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവ് വേഗം വരുന്നു. വിശുദ്ധൻമാർക്ക് വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ഒരവകാശമുണ്ട്. ദൈവവചനം വിട്ട് ഇടത്തോട്ടോ വലത്തോട്ടോ മാറാതിരിക്കാം.
ദൈവനാമം നമ്മിലൂടെ മഹത്വപ്പെടട്ടെ.

 

ഈ ലോകത്തിന് ഓരോ ദിവസവും വരുന്ന മാററങ്ങൾ കാണുമ്പോൾ ഹൃദയം കലങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു .

ദൈവം നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നു
"ഞാൻ മാറാത്തവനാണ് "


ഓരോ ദിനവും വ്യർത്ഥമായി കഴിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്നു. ദിവസങ്ങളും, മാസങ്ങളും വേഗത്തിൽ കടന്നു പോകുന്നു. ജീവിതം തള്ളിനീക്കുന്ന ഒരവസ്ഥ. യാതൊന്നും ഉറപ്പിച്ച് തീരുമാനിക്കാൻ പോലും കഴിയാത്ത അനിശ്ചിതത്വം...

ദൈവം നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നു
"എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുക."

ഞാൻ ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഭൂമി  വലിയ ഒരു തകർച്ചയെ നേരിടുമ്പോൾ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഭയം നിറയുന്നു.

ദൈവം നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നു
"ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട ''

ഒരിക്കൽ സ്വന്തമെന്ന് കരുതിയ പലതും കയ്യിൽ നിന്ന് വഴുതിപ്പോകുന്നു. എന്തുകൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് ഇത് സംഭവിക്കുന്നു? എന്ന ചോദ്യം മനസ്സിൽ എപ്പോഴും ഉയർന്നു വരുന്നു.

ദൈവം നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നു
" ഞാൻ എല്ലാ ദിവസവും നിന്നോട് കൂടെയുണ്ട്
"

നാം നേരിടുന്ന ജീവിത സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ നിയന്ത്രണാതീതമെന്ന തോന്നൽ നമ്മെ തളർത്തിക്കളയുന്നു

ദൈവം നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നു
" ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ബലമാകുന്നു"

പ്രതികൂലങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ചുറ്റും എന്നെ വലയ്ക്കുന്നു. ശത്രുവിന്റെ തീയമ്പുകൾ എന്റെ നേരേ കടന്നു വരുന്നു. എല്ലാറ്റിനും മീതെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഞാൻ മുഴങ്ങിക്കേൾക്കുന്നു."എനിക്ക് നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ ഒരു പദ്ധതിയുണ്ട് "

വീണ്ടും  ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മൃദു സ്വരം കേൾക്കുന്നു.
" ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു"

ഗിലെയാദിൽ സുഗന്ധതൈലം ഇല്ലയോ? അവിടെ വൈദ്യൻ ഇല്ലയോ? എന്റെ ജനത്തിൻപുത്രിക്കു രോഗശമനം വരാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതെന്ത്?

യിരെമ്യാവ് 8 :22 

ദിവസേന അനേകം രോഗികളുടെ വേദനകൾ കാണുമ്പോൾ മനസ്സിലേക്ക് ഓടിയെത്തുന്ന വചനമാണ് മുകളിൽ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചത്.
ഗിലെയാദ് ധാരാളം ഔഷധ സസ്യങ്ങൾ ഉള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലമാണ്. അവിടെയുള്ള ഒരു മരത്തിന്റെ തോൽ ചതച്ചു കഴിയുമ്പോൾ അവിടെ നിന്ന് ഊറി വരുന്ന ദ്രാവകം വളരെ ഔഷധമൂല്യമുള്ളതാണ്. സുഗന്ധം പരത്തുന്ന ഔഷധം!
യോസേഫിനെ സഹോദരൻമാർ പൊട്ടക്കിണറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് വലിച്ചു കയറ്റി യിശ്മായേല്യ കച്ചവടക്കാർക്ക് 20 വെള്ളിക്കാശിന് വിറ്റു. അവർ ഗിലയാദിൽ നിന്ന് സുഗന്ധതൈലവുമായി മിസ്രയീമിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നവരായിരുന്നു. ( ഉല്പത്തി 37 :25)
അടിമയായ യോസേഫിന്‌ യാത്രയിലുടനീളം ഗിലയാദിലെ സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെ സൗരഭ്യം ആശ്വാസം നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ടാകും.

ഒരിക്കൽ ചതയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട മരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഒഴുകിയ സൗരഭ്യം തകർന്ന ഹൃദയത്തിന് തണുപ്പ് നൽകി .പിന്നീട് യോസേഫിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ തുടർച്ചയായ ശോധനകൾ ഉണ്ടായി .എന്നാൽ അവന്റെ ജീവിതം പിൽക്കാലത്ത് ഒരു സൗരഭ്യവാസനയായി മാറി.

നമ്മുടെ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ട കർത്താവ് നമുക്കായി തകർക്കപ്പെട്ടു .മുറിവേറ്റു, അപമാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടു,
ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.......
എന്നാൽ യേശു പരത്തിയ പരിമളം എത്ര വലിയത്! അവർണ്ണനീയം!
അവിടുന്ന് ഗിലയാദിലെ വൈദ്യനാണ് .അവന്റെ നാമം പകർന്ന തൈലം പോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഈ നാളുകളിൽ അനേകം കഷ്ടങ്ങളിലൂടെ നാം കടന്നു പോവുകയായിരിക്കാം. മറിയം ഭരണി പൊട്ടിച്ചപ്പോൾ തൈലത്തിന്റെ സൗരഭ്യം കൊണ്ട് വീട് നിറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ 'രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിലും നശിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിലും നാം ദൈവത്തിന് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സൗരഭ്യവാസന ആകുന്നു.'
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 2: 15
ഈ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ നമുക്ക് പ്രഘോഷിക്കാം.
ഗിലെയാദിൽ ഒരു വൈദ്യനുണ്ട്. എല്ലാ രോഗങ്ങൾക്കും നല്ല വൈദ്യനായ യേശുക്രിസ്തു .

നമുക്ക് ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ പാടാം.

"പകർന്ന തൈലം പോൽ നിൻ-നാമം
പാരിൽ സൗരഭ്യം വീശുന്നതാൽ
പഴി ദുഷി നിന്ദ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽ
എന്നെ സുഗന്ധമായ് മാറ്റീടണെ
                       - വാഴ്ത്തുമേ"

 

The Psalmist David sang these lines: I will exalt You, my God, the King,And I will bless Your name forever and ever.Every day I will bless You,And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Psalm 145: 1-2

Let us sing a thousand praises to the Lord who gave us life and breath for today. When we listen to various news reports every day, our heart becomes sorrowful. But beyond that sorrow there is a joy, a spiritual joy that the Lord gives, which is the strength of a faithful believer. The joy from the Lord is our strength. That joy does not change according to circumstances. On the other hand, it multiplies under adverse circumstances! 

Psalm 1:2 says that the righteous man ‘delights in His law’. The one who delights in the law of the Lord and meditates on it day and light, such a man is blessed! Psalms 1:2

In Psalm 4:7, the Psalmist sings, ‘You have put joy in my heart, more than when their grain and new wine are abundant.’

Continue meditating, and in Psalm 5: 11 he says:

But rejoice, all who take refuge in You,Sing for joy forever! And may You shelter them,That those who love Your name may rejoice in You.

These verses from the scriptures teach us that this joy increases by many measures. It is not a momentary joy. It is a prevailing joy that no one can take away, a godly, divine joy!

Listen to some of the other verses in which David again and again rejoices in the Lord …

In Psalm 9: 2 he says:I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.And in verse 14 he says:So that I may tell of all Your praises,That in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may rejoice in Your salvation.

Our loving heavenly Father,today fill our hearts with heavenly joy and the peace that passeth all understanding...in Jesus Name..Amen

 

When the Israelites passed through the Red Sea triumphantly, they sang and praised the Lord God. The Lord had drowned under water, Pharoah and his army who kept them in slavery for years together. 

Their journey after that was through the wilderness of Shur. For three days they wandered through the desert without water. Tired and thirsty the people saw an amazing sight; a sight that comforted their hearts – a place with plenty of water! They hurried to the water longing to drink some of it. But they were bitterly disappointed. The water was bitter! What are they to do now? They turned to Moses and grumbled.

The people who sometime ago experienced the goodness of the Lord now began to rebel and complain against Him. But Moses prayed to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree which, when he dropped into that water, the water turned sweet! 

 The Lord gave them a new revelation. “And He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer.” Exodus 15:26

What actually had happened there? The bitter water turned sweet because of the marvellous work of the Lord! In other words, that tree which the Lord commanded Moses to drop into the water, would have absorbed all the bitterness of the water! This is a shadow of something to come. What did Jesus accomplish through His death on the cross 2000 years ago?

For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,And like a root out of dry ground;He has no stately form or majesty That we would look at Him,Nor an appearance that we would take pleasure in Him.However, it was our sicknesses that He Himself bore,And our pains that He carried;Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted,Struck down by God, and humiliated. But He was pierced for our offenses,He was crushed for our wrongdoings;The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him. Isaiah 53: 2,4,5 

Hallelujah!! Let us believe in Jesus! Let us surrender ourselves completely to Him. May our bitter waters turn sweet. May the Lord give us a new revelation about our Lord Jesus Christ!He will turn our bitterness into sweetness.He will split the rock in the wilderness and satisfy our thirst.

 

സങ്കീർത്തനക്കാരനായ ദാവീദ് രാജാവ് ഇപ്രകാരം പാടി

"എന്റെ ദൈവമായ രാജാവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പുകഴ്ത്തും; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നെന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തും. ദിനംതോറും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തും; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നെന്നേക്കും സ്തുതിക്കും."
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 145 :1‭-‬2 

ഇന്നേ ദിവസം നമുക്ക് ജീവനും ശ്വാസവും തന്ന ദൈവത്തിന് ഒരായിരം സ്തുതി.
ദിവസേന അനേകം വാർത്തകൾ നാം കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയം വ്യസനിക്കുന്നു .എന്നാൽ ഇതിനപ്പുറമായി ദൈവം നൽകുന്ന ഒരു ആത്മീയ സന്തോഷമാണ് ഒരു ഭക്തന്റെ ബലം.
കർത്താവിങ്കലെ സന്തോഷം നമ്മുടെ ബലമാകുന്നു .ഈ ആനന്ദം സാഹചര്യങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ച് മാറിപ്പോകുന്നതല്ല .മറിച്ച് വർദ്ധിച്ചു വരുന്ന ഒരു സന്തോഷമാണ്.

സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 1: 2 ൽ ദൈവഭക്തൻ 'ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു .'
യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ച് അവന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം രാവും പകലും ധ്യാനിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

തുടർന്ന് വായിക്കുമ്പോൾ സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 4: 7-ൽ "ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞും വർദ്ധിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവർക്കുണ്ടായതിലും അധികം സന്തോഷം  നീ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു."
എന്ന് ഭക്തൻ പാടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

ആത്മസന്തോഷം അനേകം മടങ്ങ് വർദ്ധിച്ചതായി ഈ തിരുവചനം നമ്മെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

എന്നാൽ ഇത് നൈമിഷികമായ സന്തോഷമല്ല. നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന, ആർക്കും എടുത്തുകളയാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ദൈവീകമായ ആനന്ദം. ദാവീദ് വീണ്ടും ദൈവത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്ന വചനങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാലും...

ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനായുള്ള യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ കീർത്തിക്കും. ഞാൻ സീയോൻപുത്രിയുടെ പടിവാതിലുകളിൽ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിച്ച് നിന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതിനു തന്നെ.

'നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷം ആരും നിങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് എടുത്തു കളയുകയില്ല എന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത യേശു നാഥാ ഇന്നേ ദിവസം സ്വർഗ്ഗീയമായ സന്തോഷം കൊണ്ടും സകല ബുദ്ധിയേയും കവിയുന്ന ദൈവീക സമാധാനം കൊണ്ടും ഞങ്ങളെ നിറയ്ക്കേണമേ. ആമേൻ'

 

ചെങ്കടലിന്റെ നടുവിലൂടെ ജയാളികളായി നടന്നു കയറിയ യിസ്രായേൽ ജനം ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിച്ചു പാടി. അവരെ അടിമകളാക്കി ഭരിച്ചിരുന്ന ഫറവോനും സൈന്യവും ചെങ്കടലിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

തുടർന്നുള്ള പ്രയാണം ശൂർ മരുഭൂമിയിലൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു. 3 ദിവസം വെള്ളം കിട്ടാതെ അവർ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.
ദാഹിച്ചു വലഞ്ഞ ജനം ഒരു കാഴ്ച കണ്ടു.
മനം കുളിർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കാഴ്ച .ധാരാളം വെള്ളമുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലം.
ഓടിച്ചെന്നു വെള്ളം ആർത്തിയോടെ കുടിപ്പാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച ജനം നിരാശരായി.
ആ വെള്ളം കയ്പ്പുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.
ഇനി എന്തു ചെയ്യും? അവർ മോശെയുടെ നേരേ പിറുപിറുത്തു.

ദൈവീക നൻമ അനുഭവിച്ച ജനം ഇപ്പോൾ മൽസരികളായി. പരാതി പറച്ചിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചു.
എന്നാൽ മോശെ കർത്താവിനോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.
ദൈവം മോശെക്ക് ഒരു വൃക്ഷം കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു. അത് വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ വെള്ളം മധുരമായിത്തീർന്നു.
അവിടെ വച്ച് അവൻ ഒരു ചട്ടവും പ്രമാണവും നിയമിച്ചു. ഒരു പുതിയ വെളിപ്പാട് ദൈവം അവർക്ക് നൽകി.

നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു നീ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേട്ട് അവനു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു ചെയ്കയും അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ അനുസരിച്ച് അവന്റെ സകല വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമ്യർക്കു വരുത്തിയ വ്യാധികളിൽ ഒന്നും നിനക്കു വരുത്തുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

എന്തായിരിക്കാം സംഭവിച്ചത്? ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അദ്ഭുത പ്രവൃത്തിയാൽ കയ്പ്പുള്ള വെള്ളം മധുരമായി മാറി: വിശദമായി പറഞ്ഞാൽ ആ മരം വെള്ളത്തിലെ കയ്പ് മുഴുവനും വലിച്ചെടുത്തു! ഇത് ഒരു നിഴലാണ്.
2000 വർഷം മുമ്പ് യേശുക്രിസ്തു തന്റെ ക്രൂശിലെ മരണം വഴിയായി എന്താണ് ചെയ്തത്?

"അവൻ ഇളയ തൈപോലെയും വരണ്ട നിലത്തുനിന്നു വേർ മുളയ്ക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വളരും; അവനു രൂപഗുണം ഇല്ല, കോമളത്വം ഇല്ല; കണ്ടാൽ ആഗ്രഹിക്കത്തക്ക സൗന്ദര്യവും ഇല്ല. സാക്ഷാൽ നമ്മുടെ രോഗങ്ങളെ അവൻ വഹിച്ചു; നമ്മുടെ വേദനകളെ അവൻ ചുമന്നു; നാമോ, ദൈവം അവനെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചും അടിച്ചും ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വിചാരിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ അവൻ നമ്മുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം മുറിവേറ്റും നമ്മുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം തകർന്നും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മുടെ സമാധാനത്തിനായുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അവന്റെമേൽ ആയി അവന്റെ അടിപ്പിണരുകളാൽ നമുക്കു സൗഖ്യം വന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു."

യേശുവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാം .നമ്മെത്തന്നെ പൂർണ്ണമായി സമർപ്പിക്കാം. മാറാ മധുരമാ
യിത്തീരട്ടെ. കർത്താവിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഒരു പുതിയ വെളിപ്പാട് നമുക്ക് ലഭിക്കട്ടെ....

Those who travel long distance through the desert face a number of struggles and difficulties.

The heat of the day is unbearable, the sand under their feet is burning hot, and thoughts about the distance to their destination weaken their heart! Their throat is parched with thirst; the desperate need of the hour is a few drops of water. And they look ahead … and see a lake in the distance. They gather  their strength and walk fast towards the water source. But as they draw close, they realise that it was a mirage, and their hearts are too disappointed. They expect to find an oasis but find a mirage instead and stand dumbfounded! 

We are all such travellers in the wilderness. If we  strive to find joy, peace and rest in this world we will be disappointed for sure. The world will deceive us with many false promises of a comfortable life. Therefore, sorrow, disappointment, worry and anxiety are the pitiable condition of those who see the mirage and lose their hopes. This world cannot give us anything long lasting. The world and all its desires will pass away. Nothing in the world can ever satisfy our thirst for joy and rest and peace. Not only that, but those also who put their trust in the things of the world will find that their thirst keeps ever increasing. The world can never quench our thirst.

What would be the state of a man who has come upon many mirages and have been disappointed many times! The same is the condition of a man who tries to find satisfaction in this world. 

However, let me convey a piece of good news to those who travail in the wilderness. Jesus Christ is the fountain of living water. He told the Samaritan woman: “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”John 4: 13-14.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ! Accept Him as the Lord of your heart today! If so you have found the oasis that gives joy, peace, contentment, hope, eternal life, and these things become your everlasting possession as well.

Augustine, a devoted believer in the Lord Jesus Christ once said, “Lord, You created me for Your joy and glory. My soul will remain restless until it finds rest in You”. That is a great reality. 

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires, take the water of life without cost. Revelation 22: 17.

Gloria Gaither is the composer of many Christian songs and her husband Bill Gaither is a remarkable musician.

In the days after she delivered her third child, Gloria went through severe mental conflicts. Day and night she was afflicted by disturbing thoughts, the main reason for it being the uncertainty that characterised those days. In those days, schools in America which were meant to educate children about God, gave emphasis to atheistic thoughts and beliefs. Drugs were plenty and easily available in the streets of the country. Communities became prejudiced and were tossed and torn apart on the basis of race and colour. How can she raise her unborn child in the midst of such a wicked generation? 

What will the future of the child turn out to be? She spent her days tormented by these thoughts!

But one day, Gloria who was a God-fearing lady, experienced very powerfully the presence of the Lord, and she saw in her spirit that her heavenly Father has placed her child securely in His hands. And so 

she began to sing …

Because He lives,

I can face tomorrow,

Because He lives,

All fear is gone.

Because I know,

He holds the future,

And life is worth the living,

Just because He lives.

..Because I (Jesus) live, you will also live. John 14: 19

Gloria completed her song, and her husband Bill gave it a beautiful melody. The Lord used the song to comfort thousands of people who are burning in anxiety about their future.

Because Jesus lives, I have no anxiety and no fear about tomorrow because my future is in the hands of my Lord! I can face life courageously. Not only that, because the Lord has overcome death, I have the blessed hope that my Lord reigns forever!

God sent his Son, His name is Jesus,

He came to love, heal and forgive,

He lived and died to buy my pardon,

An empty grave is there to prove,

My Saviour lives!

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,

Because He lives, all fear is gone,

Because I know, He holds my future,

And life is worth the living just because He lives.

How sweet to hold, a newborn baby!

And feel the pride and joy He gives,

But greater still the calm assurance

This child can face uncertain days,

Because He lives.

മരുഭൂമിയിലൂടെ വളരെ ദൂരം സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നവർ വളരെയധികം കഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവരാണ്.

വെയിലിന്റെ ചൂട് അസഹനീയം,മണൽ ചുട്ട് പഴുത്തതുപോലെ, ലക്ഷ്യസ്ഥാനം എത്ര മാത്രം ദൂരെ എന്ന ചിന്ത ഹൃദയത്തെ തളർത്തുന്നു. ദാഹം കൊണ്ട് തൊണ്ട വരളുന്നു.. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ എറ്റവും വലിയ ആവശ്യം കുറച്ച് വെള്ളമാണ്.
ദാ... ദൂരെ ഒരു തടാകം കാണുന്നു. ഉള്ള ശക്തി സംഭരിച്ച് അവിടേക്ക് വേഗം നടന്നു. എന്നാൽ അടുത്തെത്തിയപ്പോൾ നിരാശനായി. അത് ഒരു മരീചിക (mirage) ആയിരുന്നു. മരുപ്പച്ച (Oasis ) പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ച് ഓടി വന്നവൻ മരീചിക കണ്ട് പകച്ചു നിന്നു.

നാമെല്ലാം മരുഭൂ യാത്രക്കാരാണ്. സന്തോഷം, വിശ്രമം, സമാധാനം മുതലായവ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ കണ്ടെത്താൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നവർ നിരാശരാകും. ലോകം ധാരാളം കാര്യങ്ങൾ നൽകാമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് മനുഷ്യരെ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു. ദു:ഖം, നിരാശ, ആകുലത എല്ലാം മരീചിക കണ്ട് ഭഗ്നാശരായവരുടെ ദയനീയ അവസ്ഥയാണ്.
ഈ ലോകത്തിന് നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന ഒന്നും നൽകാൻ കഴിയില്ല. ലോകവും അതിന്റെ മോഹവും കടന്നു പോകും. ഒരുനാളും നമ്മുടെ ദാഹം ശമിപ്പിപ്പാൻ അതിന് കഴിയുകയില്ല. അതു മാത്രമല്ല ലോകത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ദാഹം വർദ്ധിച്ചു കൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കും.

അനേകം മരീചിക കണ്ട് നിരാശയ്ക്ക് അടിമപ്പെട്ട ഒരു മരുഭൂമി യാത്രക്കാരന്റെ അവസ്ഥ എന്തായിരിക്കും?അതു തന്നെയാണ് ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ സംതൃപ്തി കണ്ടെത്താൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ അവസ്ഥ .
എന്നാൽ ഒരു സന്തോഷ വാർത്ത മരുഭൂമി യാത്രക്കാരോട് അറിയിക്കട്ടെ.
യേശുക്രിസ്തു ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ ഉറവയാണ്. ശമര്യ സ്ത്രീയോട് കർത്താവ് പറഞ്ഞു. 

യേശു അവളോടു: ഈ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്നവന്നു എല്ലാം പിന്നെയും ദാഹിക്കും.  ഞാൻ കൊടുക്കുന്ന വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്നവനോ ഒരുനാളും ദാഹിക്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ കൊടുക്കുന്ന വെള്ളം അവനിൽ നിത്യജീവങ്കലേക്കു പൊങ്ങിവരുന്ന നീരുറവായി തീരും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

യോഹന്നാൻ 4 :13‭-‬14 

യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുക. കർത്താവായി ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സ്വീകരിക്കുക.
യഥാർത്ഥ മരുപ്പച്ച (oasis ) നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സമാധാനം, സന്തോഷം, സംതൃപ്തി, പ്രത്യാശ,നിത്യജീവൻ എല്ലാം നിങ്ങൾ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
"ദൈവമേ എന്നെ അങ്ങ് അങ്ങേയ്ക്കായി സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു .അങ്ങയിൽ വിശ്രമം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതുവരേയും എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് അസ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കും "എന്ന് അഗസ്റ്റിൻ എന്ന ദൈവഭക്തൻ പറഞ്ഞത് എത്ര വലിയ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം.

വരിക എന്നു ആത്മാവും മണവാട്ടിയും പറയുന്നു; കേൾക്കുന്നവനും: വരിക എന്നു പറയട്ടെ; ദാഹിക്കുന്നവൻ വരട്ടെ; ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവൻ ജീവജലം സൗജന്യമായി വാങ്ങട്ടെ.

ഗ്ലോറിയ ഗെയ്ദർ അനേകം ക്രിസ്തീയ ഗാനങ്ങളുടെ രചയിതാവാണ്. അവരുടെ ഭർത്താവ് ബിൽ ഗെയ് ദർ നല്ല ഒരു സംഗീതജ്ഞനാണ്.

മൂന്നാമത്തെ കുഞ്ഞിന് ജന്മം നൽകിയ നാളുകളിൽ ഗ്ലോറിയ വളരെയധികം മാനസിക പിരിമുറുക്കത്തിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോയി .ആകുലത രാപ്പകൽ അവളെ സമ്മർദ്ദത്തിലാക്കി. ഒരു പ്രധാന കാരണം ആ നാളുകൾ ഒരു അനശ്ചിതത്വത്തിന്റെ കാലമായിരുന്നു .വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നൽകുന്ന സ്കൂളുകൾ നീരിശ്വരവാദത്തിന് ഊന്നൽ നൽകി. എല്ലായിടത്തും മയക്കു മരുന്നുകൾ സുലഭം. വർണ്ണത്തിന്റെയും വർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെയും പേരിൽ സമൂഹം കലങ്ങി മറിഞ്ഞു.
ജനിക്കാൻ പോകുന്ന കുഞ്ഞ് ഈ ദുഷ്ടതലമുറയിൽ എങ്ങനെ ജീവിക്കും?
കുഞ്ഞിന്റെ ഭാവി എന്തായിത്തീരും?
ചോദ്യങ്ങളുമായി നാളുകൾ തള്ളിനീക്കി.
ഒരു ദിവസം ദൈവഭക്തയായ ഗ്ലോറിയ വലിയ ദൈവസാന്നിധ്യം അനുഭവിച്ചു. സ്വർഗ്ഗീയ പിതാവ് തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിനെ കരങ്ങളിൽ വഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ആത്മാവിൽ കണ്ടു കൊണ്ട് പാടി ( Because He lives ... ).....

Because He lives,
I can face tomorrow
Because He lives,

ഞാൻ (യേശു) ജീവിക്കുന്നതു കൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളും ജീവിക്കും. യോഹന്നാൻ 14: 19

തുടർന്ന് ഗ്ലോറിയ ഗാനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. അവളുടെ ഭർത്താവ് ബിൽ പാട്ടിന് മനോഹരമായ ഈണം നൽകി.
ഭാവിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ആകുലതയിൽ നീറുന്ന ആയിരങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശ്വാസമായി ഈ ഗാനത്തെ ദൈവം ഉപയോഗിച്ചു...

യേശു ജീവിക്കുന്നതു കൊണ്ട് നമുക്ക് ആകുലമില്ല. നാളെയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഭയമില്ല കാരണം എന്റെ ഭാവി ദൈവകരങ്ങളിലാണ്.
എനിക്ക് ധൈര്യത്തോടെ ജീവിതത്തെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കാൻ കഴിയും. അതു മാത്രമല്ല കർത്താവ് മരണത്തെ ജയിച്ചതു കൊണ്ട് ഭാഗ്യകരമായ പ്രത്യാശ എനിക്കുണ്ട്...
കാരണം ദൈവം എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു!!!

Loneliness … John was alone on the Island of Patmos. No Christian brothers around for fellowship …even if someone wanted to help him, they could not help! Piles of rocks all around him. And the only sound was that of the beating waves … a dreadful situation!

Uncertainty … There was nothing eventful happening in Patmos except that the days were passing by …. What does hope mean on an island meant to exile and punish criminals! Empty days and empty nights! 

The pain of memories … the memory of the sweet and joyful experiences of the past ... they come racing into the mind! Friends, family members, classmates, … many faces light up in the mind …. you cannot mention each by name … the pain of the prisoners at Patmos!!

Many questions!! Why? Why am I in Patmos? Is deliverance possible? 

Definitely these questions might have crowded John’s mind as well!

Let me describe the experiences of John in the lines below.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, and when I turned back … and in the middle of the lampstands, I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and wrapped around the chest with a golden sash. His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like burnished bronze when it has been heated to a glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters. In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength. Revelation 1:13-16.

The glorified Christ was in Patmos!! John received the answer to all his questions. No more loneliness … no more uncertainty… no painful memories …. 

The loud trumpet of the Lord Jesus again sounded on Patmos! “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades."

Worship rises from their hearts! The prisoner at Patmos falls at the feet of Jesus…

A door is kept open in heaven … the heavenly throne …. the Lamb that was slain … heavenly praises … the New Jerusalem … 

Behold Patmos!! …. it has become a place of blessing! Hallelujah … all glory to God! Amen!!
