സെമിത്തേരിയില്ലാത്ത ഒരു പട്ടണമോ രാജ്യമോ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ!

2) ആശുപത്രികൾ .... മനുഷ്യന് എത്ര വലിയ സഹായം നൽകുന്ന ഒരിടം.... എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന വേദനയുടെ ആഴം എത്ര വലിയത്. ....നെടുവീർപ്പുകൾ: നിലവിളികൾ........
രോഗികളില്ലാത്ത ഒരു പട്ടണമോ രാജ്യമോ
ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ!

3) പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ..... നീതി, ന്യായം നടപ്പാക്കാൻ മനുഷ്യൻ സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. എത്ര സുരക്ഷിതത്വം ലോക മനുഷ്യന് ഈ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നു .ഇവർ നൽകുന്ന സേവനങ്ങൾ എത്ര വലിയത്!
എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന വേദനകൾ, നിരാശ, കുറ്റബോധം .....
ഓസ്വാൾഡിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഒരാഗ്രഹം കൊണ്ട് നിറഞ്ഞു.

(Overcoming the 2nd Wave)

When Jesus said, ‘Come’, Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water to reach Him. But then, since he trembled seeing the winds and began to sink, he cried out, “Lord, please save me!’. Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” When they got into the boat, the wind stopped”. Matthew 14: 29 – 32.And then Peter walked triumphantly over the sea that was turbulent because of the winds. 

Firstly, He easily suppressed the waves that raged about him. Speaking in the current circumstances, he overcame the ‘first wave’. He did not fear; because the Lord’s word ‘Come’ made him courageous ... because his eyes were fixed on the face of the Lord …

However, after a while, when he saw the second wave of the wind and the storm, he was frightened, and he began to sink. In that moment he cried out, “Lord, save me!” And Jesus immediately stretched out His hand and caught hold of Peter who was sinking low in the middle of the fierce wind and storm.

We can also look at the face of Jesus. If there is fear rising in our hearts when the storms beat and howl around us, may the voice of the Lord give us strength …

The LORD sat as King at the flood;Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.The LORD will give strength to His people;The LORD will bless His people with peace.(psalms 29: 10,11)

ദൈവം ബദ്ധൻമാരെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കുന്നു.2, ദൈവം blind ആയിട്ടുള്ള eyes നെ open ചെയ്യുന്നു. 3, The Lord raises up the bow down. നിലം പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നവരെ കർത്താവ് raise ചെയ്യാൻ പോകുകയാണ്. Psalms 146:7,8 Praise the Lord. യേശു കർത്താവ് എഴുന്നേറ്റ് നിന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ ആദ്യത്തെ കാര്യം ആത്മാവിന്റെ ശക്തിയിൽ കർത്താവ് പറഞ്ഞ ആദ്യത്തെ കാര്യം എന്താണ്? എന്താണെന്നറിയാമോ? ബന്ധൻമാർക്ക് വിടുതലും കുരുടർക്ക് കാഴ്ചയും നൽകുവാൻ കർത്താവ് എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പ്രിയമുള്ളവരെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാഭിഷേകത്തെ കുറിച്ചൊന്നും സംസാരിക്കാനല്ല ഞാൻ നിൽക്കുന്നത്. ദൈവം കഴിഞ്ഞ നാളുകളിൽ, ദൈവം എന്താണ് ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് ആ പ്രവൃത്തി. യേശു ഒരു കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞു എന്റെ പിതാവ് പ്രവൃത്തിക്കുന്നു ഞാനും പ്രവൃത്തിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങളിൽ നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ആരംഭിച്ചവൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാളോളം അതിനെ പൂർത്തിയാക്കി തികയ്ക്കും. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ ശക്തി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവന്റെ മേൽ പകർന്നു കഴിയുമ്പോൾ അവർ പുതിയോരു വ്യക്തികളായി രൂപാന്തരം പ്രാപിച്ച് യെഹസ്ക്കേൽ 37 അദ്ധ്യായത്തിൽ വായിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അസ്ഥികൂമ്പാരങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശക്തി കടന്നുവന്നപ്പോൾ അസ്ഥികൂമ്പാരങ്ങൾ സൈന്യമായി എഴുന്നേറ്റ് നിന്നതു പോലെ ദൈവം ഒരു സൈന്യത്തെ നമ്മുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിക്കും. ഒരു സൈന്യത്തെ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിക്കും. ബ്രദർ നമ്മെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കാര്യമിതാണ്. ദൈവത്തിൽ വിശ്വാസമുള്ളവർ ആയിരിപ്പിൻ. ദൈവത്തിൽ വിശ്വാസമുള്ളവരായിരിപ്പിൻ.

പ്രിയമുള്ളവരെ F W Boreham എന്ന ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ പാട്ടുമാത്രം പറഞ്ഞ് ഞാൻ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.. The Candle and the Bird ൽ അദ്ദേഹം എഴുതി. കഴിഞ്ഞ നാളുകളിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ presence നെ ഞാൻ ഒരു Light നോടല്ല ഉപമിക്കുന്നത് പാട്ടു പാടുന്ന ഒരു പക്ഷിയോടാണ് ഉപമിക്കാൻ ഞാനാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്. അദ്ദേഹമെഴുതിയ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പാട്ടിൽ, കഴിഞ്ഞ നാളുകളിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളിൽ ദൈവം എന്താണ് ചെയ്തതെന്ന് നാം മനസ്സിലാക്കുമ്പോൾ ദൈവമേ അതേ ദൈവത്തോടു തന്നെ അതേ ശക്തിക്കായി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുവാൻ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സിന് ഒരു ദാഹം തരും എന്ന് ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണമായി വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. നമ്മെപ്പോലെ ക്ഷീണിച്ചവരായ തളർന്നവരായ ബലഹീനരായ കഴിവുകളില്ലാത്ത നിന്ദിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു കൂട്ടം ആളുകൾ ദൈവത്തിന് വേണ്ടി കാത്തിരുന്നപ്പോൾ കഴിഞ്ഞ നാളുകളിൽ പ്യൂരിറ്റൻസ് എന്ന് പറയുന്ന വിശുദ്ധിക്കുവേണ്ടി നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടത്തെ ദൈവം എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ചു. വിശുദ്ധിക്കുവേണ്ടി ലോകം ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ദൂരെ നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നപ്പോൾ വിശുദ്ധിക്കുവേണ്ടി നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടത്തെ മനുഷ്യരിൽ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ചത് ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സർവ്വശക്തനായ ദൈവം അസ്ഥികൂമ്പാരങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു കൂട്ടം വിശുദ്ധൻമാരെ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ചു. ലോകം അവരെ പ്യൂരിറ്റൻസ് എന്ന് വിളിച്ചു.

8 വർഷങ്ങൾക്കുശേഷം Joseph Addison എന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ statesman ആയിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ കടന്നുപോയ സമയത്ത് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ലോകം വിചാരിച്ചു ഈ പക്ഷി പാട്ട് അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. എന്നാൽ അദ്ദേഹം പറയുകയാണ് എന്നാൽ ഇല്ല. ഓഗസ്റ്റ് മാസം 13 ന് 1727 ൽ ഒരു കൂട്ടം യൗവ്വനക്കാർ ദൈവത്തെ കാത്തിരുന്ന സമയത്ത് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവ് ശക്തമായി കടന്നുവന്നപ്പോൾ 27 വയസ്സു മാത്രം പ്രായമുള്ള Zinzendorf
എന്ന് പറയുന്ന യൗവ്വനക്കാരനെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവ് എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ചപ്പോൾ അന്ത്യ കാലത്ത് സകല ജഡത്തിന്റെ മേലും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ പകരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രൻമാരും പുത്രിമാരും പ്രവചിക്കും. നിങ്ങളുടെ യൗവ്വനക്കാർ ദർശനങ്ങളെ കാണും. നിങ്ങളുടെ വൃദ്ധൻമാർ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളെ കാണും ആ നാളുകളിൽ എന്റെ ദാസൻമാരുടെ മേലും എന്റെ ദാസിമാരുടെ മേലും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ പകരും എന്ന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വാഗ്ദത്തം ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ ലോകം പറഞ്ഞു 27 വയസ്സുകാരനായ ഈ പക്ഷിക്ക് എന്ത് പാട്ടു പാടാൻ സാധിക്കും?. പ്രിയമുള്ളവരെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സത്യ സുവിശേഷം കേൾക്കാതിരുന്ന ഇരുണ്ട ഭൂഖണ്ഡങ്ങളിലേക്ക് മൊറേവ്യൻസ് എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടം കടന്നുപോയി .അന്ന് രാവിലെ ആരംഭിച്ച പ്രാർത്ഥന ഗ്രൂപ്പ് 100 വർഷക്കാലം ഒരു മിനിറ്റ് പോലും മുറിയാതെ ആ പ്രാർത്ഥന നീണ്ടുപോയെങ്കിൽ ഒരു കാര്യം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം പറയുന്നു. സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ കയ്യിലിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു തൂക്കുകട്ട കണ്ടിട്ട് ആളുകൾ ചോദിക്കുകയാണ്. സെരുബ്ബാബേലേ നീയാണോ ആലയം പണിയാൻ പോകുന്നത്. നിനക്ക് കഴിവുണ്ടോ? നിനക്ക് ശക്തിയുണ്ടോ? നിനക്ക് talents ഉണ്ടോ? നിനക്ക് ability ഉണ്ടോ? നിനക്ക് resource ഉണ്ടോ? ദൈവം പറഞ്ഞു സെരുബ്ബാബേലേ നിന്റെ കൈയ്യാണോ ഇതിന് അടിസ്ഥാനമിട്ടത് നിന്റെ കൈ തന്നെ അത് തീർക്കും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ കർത്താവ് ഒരു കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞു. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ കർത്താവ് സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ കയ്യിലുള്ള തൂക്കുകട്ട സന്തോഷിച്ചിട്ട് പറയുകയാണ് സൈന്യത്താലുമല്ല ശക്തിയാലുമല്ല എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനാൽ തന്നെയാണ് ഞാൻ ആലയം പണിയുന്നത്. അതിന് മുൻപ് പറഞ്ഞു നീ ആരാണ് ? മലകളെ പർവ്വതങ്ങളെ നീ ആരാണ് ? നീ സമഭൂമിയായിതീരും. മലകളും കുന്നുകളും നിന്റെ മുൻപിൽ തകർന്നു തരിപ്പണമായിത്തീരും. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയെ തടയുവാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. മൊറേവ്യൻ മിഷണറിമാർ കടന്നുപോയ സമയത്ത് പ്രിയമുള്ളവരെ അത് ഒരു side ൽ അവരുടെ work ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ അവസാനിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ലോകം പറഞ്ഞു പക്ഷിയുടെ പാട്ട് അവസാനിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ഏതു ദിവസമാണോ ഫ്രാൻസിൽ കുരിശ് പരസ്യമായി കത്തിച്ചത്. ഞാൻ കുരിശിനെ ബഹുമാനിക്കാനല്ല പറയുന്നത്. ഏതു ദിവസമാണോ ഫ്രാൻസിന്റെ തെരുവീഥികളിൽ കുരിശ് പരസ്യമായി കത്തിച്ച് ദൈവനാമത്തെ ദുഷിച്ചത്. അതേ ദിവസം തന്നെയാണ് ഒരു ചെരുപ്പ്കുത്തി ഇന്ത്യയിൽ കാലുകുത്തിയത്. അവന്റെ പേരാണ് വില്യം കേറി. Praise the Lord. ഫ്രാൻസിലെ കുരിശ് കത്തിച്ചവർ ചോദിച്ചു ഒരു ചെരുപ്പ് കുത്തിക്ക് മഹാരാജ്യമായ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ എന്ത് ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിക്കും ?പക്ഷേ 41 വർഷങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് ആ പക്ഷി മനോഹരമായി പാടി 40 languageകളിലേക്ക് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും മാറിപ്പോയാലും മാറ്റമില്ലാത്ത സത്യത്തിന്റെ വചനത്തെ അവൻ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ translate ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ നമുക്ക് പറയാം. സൈന്യത്താലുമല്ല ശക്തിയാലുമല്ല ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനാൽ തന്നെയാണ്. പക്ഷി മനോഹരമായി പാടി കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. വീണ്ടും ആളുകൾ വിചാരിച്ചു പക്ഷിയുടെ പാട്ട് അവസാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പക്ഷിയുടെ പാട്ട് അവസാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഒരു കൂട്ടം ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ ഒരു ദിവസം അവർ യൂറോപ്പിൽ ഒരു രാത്രി പ്രാർത്ഥന കൂടുകയായിരുന്നു. ചില ആളുകളുടെ പേര് ഞാൻ പറയട്ടെ. മൊറേവ്യൻ movements പല Sideകളിലായി അവസാനിച്ച സമയത്ത് കുറച്ച് ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ കൂടി ദൈവത്തെ കാത്തിരുന്നു. വളരെ ചെറിയ ഒരു Prayer meeting. മൈക്കുകൾ ഓർഗൻ ഇല്ല ഒന്നുമില്ല. ഒരു ചെറിയ കൂട്ടം ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ കർത്താവിന് വേണ്ടി കാത്തിരുന്നു അവരുടെ പേരുകൾ ഞാൻ പറയാം. ജോൺ വെസ്ളി, ചാൾസ് വെസ്ളി, ജോർജ് വൈറ്റ് ഫീൽഡ് രാവിലെ 3 മണി സമയത്ത് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ചലിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ശക്തി അവരുടെ മേൽ കടന്നുവന്നപ്പോൾ ജോൺ വെസ്ളി എന്ന മനുഷ്യന്റെ വായിലൂടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പാട്ട് ഒഴുകി തുടങ്ങി Praise the Lord

തിരകളാൽ വലഞ്ഞിരുന്ന കടലിന്റെ മുകളിലൂടെ പത്രൊസ് ഒരു ജയാളിയായി നടന്നു .ഒന്നാമതായി അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്ന തിരമാലകളെ അവൻ നിഷ്പ്രയാസം കീഴടക്കി. ഇന്നത്തെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞാൽ " ഒന്നാം തിരമാലകളെ " ( 1st wave) അവൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടില്ല.
കാരണം 'വരിക' എന്ന കർത്താവിന്റെ ശബ്ദം അവനെ ധൈര്യമുള്ളവനാക്കി .. കാരണം അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി എപ്പോഴും കർത്താവിന്റെ മുഖത്തേക്കായിരുന്നു...

എന്നാൽ ചില സമയം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ കാറ്റും അതിനോട് ചേർന്ന് വന്ന തിരമാലകളും ( 2nd wave) കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു കടലിൽ മുങ്ങിത്തുടങ്ങി .എന്നാൽ അവൻ ആ നിമിഷം ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിച്ചു: ' കർത്താവേ എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ "
ശക്തമായ തിരമാലകളിൽ താണു പോയ പത്രൊസിനെ യേശു ഉടനെ കൈ നീട്ടി പിടിച്ചു...

നമുക്ക് യേശുവിന്റെ മുഖത്തേക്ക് തന്നേ നോക്കാം. ചുറ്റുപാടും തിരമാലകൾ ആർത്തലയ്ക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദം.. ഭയം ഉള്ളിൽ നുരഞ്ഞു പൊങ്ങുന്നു .എന്നാൽ ദൈവവചനത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം നമുക്ക് ബലം നൽകട്ടെ...
കർത്താവ് ജലപ്രളയത്തിന്മീതെ ഇരുന്നു; കർത്താവ് എന്നേക്കും
രാജാവായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു. കർത്താവ് തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ശക്തി നല്കും;കർത്താവ് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സമാധാനം നല്കി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

തിരമാലകളുടെ മുകളിൽ രാജാവായിരിക്കുന്ന സർവ്വശക്തനായ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കർത്താവേ അങ്ങയെ ഞങ്ങൾ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. ആമേൻ

The north wind is the wind of adversity and the south wind is the wind of comfort. For a garden to be fragrant and to bear fruit, both these winds are necessary. In Joseph’s life, the days of his childhood when he enjoyed the fullness of his father’s love are the south wind days of his life; joy filled days!! 

However, the days of his brothers’ jealousy, the dry well, the day he was sold as a slave and the days thereafter, they were all days when the north wind experiences marked his life.

Life at Potiphar’s house was very pleasant – dignified job, comfortable living conditions … the coolness of the south wind comforted Joseph’s heart!

Again, the north wind blew, this time very severely. As a result, he spent long years imprisoned in a dungeon. The butler who promised to help him forgot his word! 

In the days that followed, he interpreted the dream of the king, was released from the prison, became the Prime minister of Egypt --- because the hand of the compassionate God moved in his favour! Continuously the south wind blew over his life ….

One would make wonder what the outcome of it all was – the blowing of the north wind and the south wind one after the other at their appointed times!

The answer is – God used Joseph for the sustenance of the nation of Israel! The Lord gave Joseph grace and favour and wisdom in the eyes of the Pharoah – he stood before the Pharoah as a good vine bearing good fruit – and many other goodness. 

In Genesis 49: 22 we read that ‘Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine near a spring, whose branches climb over a wall.’ See how, through the bitter and sweet experiences in his life, Joseph turned out to be a blessed person in the Bible!!

So, pick up a pen and a sheet of paper and write down the experiences in your life when the north wind or the south wind blew! And then you will tell the Lord, ‘Lord, thank You! Thank You, Lord, for all those experiences – through them You gave us the honour of beholding Your face!! Hallelujah!!

വടതിക്കാറ്റ് (North Wind) പ്രതികൂലത്തിന്റെ കാറ്റും തെക്കൻക്കാറ്റ് (South Wind) കുളിർമ്മ നൽകുന്ന കാറ്റുമാണ്. സുഗന്ധം വീശുവാനും ഫലങ്ങൾ കായ്ക്കുവാനും ഇവ രണ്ടും ആവശ്യമാണ്.

യോസേഫിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ സ്നേഹ വാത്സല്യങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിച്ച ബാല്യകാലം തെന്നിക്കാറ്റിന്റെ നാളുകളായിരുന്നു .എന്നും സന്തോഷം നിറഞ്ഞ ദിനങ്ങൾ....
എന്നാൽ സഹോദരൻമാരുടെ അസൂയ, പൊട്ടക്കിണർ, അടിമയായി വിൽക്കപ്പെട്ട തുടർന്നുള്ള ദിനങ്ങൾ വടതിക്കാറ്റ് വീശിയ അനുഭവങ്ങളായിരുന്നു .....

പോത്തീഫറിന്റെ ഭവനത്തിലെ ജീവിതം വളരെ ആനന്ദകരമായിരുന്നു.
നല്ല ജോലി, മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ജീവിത സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ .... തെന്നിക്കാറ്റിന്റെ കുളിർമ്മ യോസേഫിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ തണുപ്പിച്ചു.

വീണ്ടും വടക്കൻ കാറ്റ് ശക്തമായി വീശി. താൻ ചെയ്യാത്ത കുറ്റത്തിന് യോസേഫ് വളരെ വർഷങ്ങൾ കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽ കിടന്നു.
സഹായിക്കാമെന്ന് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തവൻ യോസേഫിനെ മറന്നു...

തുടർന്ന് രാജാവിന്റെ സ്വപ്നത്തിന്റെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം, കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽ നിന്നും മോചനം, രാജ്യത്തെ ഭരണാധികാരിയായി.... കരുണാമയനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കരം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു ... തുടർമാനമായി തെന്നിക്കാറ്റ് യോസേഫിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ വീശി ...
വടതിക്കാറ്റും തെന്നിക്കാറ്റും മാറി മാറി വീശീയത് കൊണ്ട് എന്തു പ്രയോജനമുണ്ടായി എന്ന് നാം ചിന്തിച്ചേക്കാം.
യിസ്രായേൽ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ നിലനിൽപ്പിന് ദൈവം അവനെ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു... ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കൃപയും ജ്ഞാനവും ദൈവം യോസേഫിന് നൽകി. ....നല്ല ഫലങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയായി യോസേഫിന്റെ ജീവിതം.....മറ്റനേകം നൻമകൾ !!

"തീപ്പൊരി ഉയരെ പറക്കുംപോലെ മനുഷ്യൻ കഷ്ടതെക്കായി ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു."ഇയ്യോബ് 5 :7. ദൈവവചനം കേട്ടു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ഒരാൾ ഈ വചനം കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഇടയ്ക്ക് കയറി പറഞ്ഞു: ഇത് എത്ര സത്യം!എന്റെ ജീവിതം ഇതു പോലെയാണ്. തീപ്പൊരി പറന്ന് ഉയരുന്നതു പോലെ ഓരോ കഷ്ടതകൾക്കും പിന്നാലെ അടുത്തത് വരുന്നു.

പ്രസംഗകൻ പറഞ്ഞു 'ഈ വചനം സത്യമാണെന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ ഹൃദയപൂർവ്വം വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ അടുത്ത വചനവും വിശ്വസിക്കണം ".അവൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കായി കരുതുന്നതാകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല ചിന്താകുലവും അവന്റെ മേൽ ഇട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ."
1 പത്രൊസ് 5 :7 ( രണ്ട് വചനവും 5: 7 എന്നോർക്കാൻ എളുപ്പം )

2 രാജാക്കൻമാർ 8-ാം അദ്ധ്യായത്തിൽ (1 മുതൽ 6 വരെയുള്ള വചനങ്ങൾ )മകനെ ജീവിപ്പിച്ച സ്ത്രീയോട്  ഏലീശാ ,ദേശത്ത് 7 വർഷം ക്ഷാമം വരുന്നു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. പരദേശവാസത്തിന് ബുദ്ധി ഉപദേശിച്ചു -അങ്ങനെ 7 വർഷം ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശത്ത് താമസിച്ച് മടങ്ങി വന്നപ്പോൾ തന്റെ വീടും സ്ഥലവും സംബന്ധിച്ച് സങ്കടം ബോധിപ്പിപ്പാൻ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ ചെന്നു.
ആ സമയം ഏലീശായുടെ ബാല്യക്കാരനോട് രാജാവ് സംസാരിക്കുന്ന നിമിഷം ആയിരുന്നു. ഏലീശായുടെ കൈകളിലൂടെ ദൈവം ചെയ്ത പ്രവർത്തികൾ പറയുമ്പോൾ മരിച്ചു പോയവനെ ജീവിപ്പിച്ചത് രാജാവിനോട് വിവരിച്ചു.
ഉടനെ രാജസന്നിധിയിലേക്ക് സ്ത്രീയും മകനും വന്നു. ബാല്യക്കാരൻ രാജാവിനോട് ഇതാ ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞ സ്ത്രീയും മകനും !!
"രാജാവു സ്ത്രീയോടു ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവളും അതു വിവരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു രാജാവു ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെ നിയമിച്ചു: അവൾക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നതൊക്കെയും അവൾ ദേശം വിട്ടുപോയ നാൾമുതൽ ഇതുവരെയുള്ള നിലത്തിന്റെ ആദായവും അവൾക്കു കൊടുപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. "

In his story titled ‘The Gift of the Magi’, O Henry presents the heart-warming story of Jim and Della. 

Jim and Della, a poor husband and wife, wished to buy a gift for each other on their first Christmas together. But they did not have the money to buy it. Della sat at home and thought and thought of a way to gain some money to buy a present for her beloved husband. Finally,she decided that she would go to the hairdresser in town and cut and sell her long beautiful golden hair. At the same time, Jim sat in his office deep in thoughts about how to buy a present for his beloved wife. As he could not find any other way, he thought he would sell the beautiful wristwatch that was his family inheritance, a possession handed down from generation to generation.

When he reached home in the evening, Jim saw Della and was shocked. She ran to him and said, ‘Jim please forgive me. I did not have any other way of getting a Christmas gift for you’. ’And what gift have  you brought for me?’ He handed over to her a beauty kit which included the combs for her long, beautiful hair. Della told her husband, ‘Quick show me your watch, the silver strap I have bought will go well with it’. Jim replied that he had sold that watch to buy the combs for Della. 

We might think that it was unwise of them to sell the precious to buy a little gift. 

That is how love is; true love involves sacrificing the precious and the dearest.

That’s what the Magi did. The three kings who came to see Jesus travelled a long distance to bring costly gifts for Jesus and to worship Him.

Similarly, because God loves us, He gave the costliest gift for us – His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. 

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life. John 3:16

Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can claim for ourselves this free gift. We too can become inheritors of  the eternal life that is promised to all who believe in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless you.

ബൈബിളിലെ ചില സംഭാഷണങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിച്ചപ്പോൾ മറിയയുമായി ഒരു ഇന്റർവ്യൂ അദ്ദേഹം ഭാവനയിൽ കണ്ടു .

എന്നാൽ തുടർന്നുള്ള 7 വർഷങ്ങൾ ഈ ഗാനം മാർക്ക് ലൗറിയുടെ ഡയറിയിലും മനസ്സിലും മാത്രം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. 1991-ൽ ബഡ്ഡി ഗ്രീൻ എന്ന വ്യക്തിക്ക് ഈ വരികൾ നൽകി. രണ്ടു ആഴ്ചകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ദൈവകൃപയാൽ ഗ്രീൻ ഈ പാട്ടിന് ഈണം നൽകി.
തുടർന്ന് ആയിരങ്ങൾ ലോകത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ഈ പാട്ട് പാടി ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി .ഹല്ലേലുയ്യാ!!

ദൈവവചനം ധ്യാനിക്കുക... ആഴത്തിൽ ചിന്തിക്കുക .... ഒരിക്കലും വൃഥാവാകില്ല. വായിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് മാത്രമല്ല മറ്റനേകർക്ക് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സമയത്ത് അത് ഒരു വലിയ അനുഗ്രഹമായി മാറുമെന്ന് മാർക്ക് ലൗറിയുടെ ജീവിതാനുഭവം നമ്മെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു:

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins… And he gave him the name Jesus.-Matthew 1:21,25b.

Joseph named the child Jesus. He did not name that child in accordance with his own pleasure, or to fulfil the desire of someone else.

The name Jesus was the name which was commanded by God and spoken through the angel. Joseph who looked at the face of Jesus and called him “Jesus”, would have never imagined that this name which he has called, is the name above all other names!!

Joseph stood first in that queue. But, multitudes, many tribes, many nations, and many tongues, called upon the name of Jesus and were saved. By the grace of God, you and I called upon the same name, and received salvation. Hallelujah!

Glory to God.

This very moment as you are reading this article, how many people are calling upon the name of Jesus for the first time and receiving everlasting life. What a glorious name!

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

അവൾ ഒരു മകനെ പ്രസവിക്കും; അവൻ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാനിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ അവന്നു യേശു എന്നു പേർ ഇടേണം... മകന് അവൻ യേശു എന്ന് പേർ വിളിച്ചു. മത്തായി 1: 21, 25 (b)

യോസേഫ് ശിശുവിന് യേശു എന്നു പേർ വിളിച്ചു. അത് സ്വന്ത ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരമോ മറ്റാരുടേയോ ആഗ്രഹം നിറവേറ്റുവാനോ ആയിരുന്നില്ല ആ നാമം ശിശുവിന് നൽകിയത് .

ദൂതൻ മുഖാന്തരം ദൈവം കല്പിച്ച് നൽകിയ നാമം ആയിരുന്നു യേശു എന്ന നാമം. ആദ്യമായി യേശുവിന്റെ മുഖത്ത് നോക്കി "യേശു " എന്ന് വിളിച്ച യോസേഫ് ഒരിക്കലും വിചാരിച്ചു കാണില്ല, താൻ വിളിച്ച നാമം സർവ്വനാമത്തിനും മേലായ നാമമാണെന്ന് !!
ആ ക്യൂവിൽ ഒന്നാമനായി യോസേഫ് നിന്നു .എന്നാൽ ജനകോടികൾ, അനേകം ഗോത്രക്കാർ, വംശക്കാർ, ഭാഷക്കാർ  യേശുവിന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ച് രക്ഷപ്രാപിച്ചു. ദൈവകൃപയാൽ ആ നിരയിൽ ഞാനും നിങ്ങളും അതേ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ച് രക്ഷ പ്രാപിച്ചു. ഹാലേലുയ്യാ!
ദൈവത്തിന് മഹത്വം.
നിങ്ങൾ ഇതു വായിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ നിമിഷം എത്ര പേർ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമം ആദ്യമായി വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ച് നിത്യജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു .
എത്ര ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ നാമം!

മറ്റൊരുത്തനിലും രക്ഷ ഇല്ല; നാം രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിൽ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നല്കപ്പെട്ട വേറൊരു നാമവും ഇല്ല.
അപ്പൊ. പ്രവൃത്തികൾ 4: 12 

അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവവും അവനെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർത്തി സകലനാമത്തിന്നും മേലായ നാമം നല്കി; അങ്ങനെ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിങ്കൽ സ്വർല്ലോകരുടെയും ഭൂലോകരുടെയും അധോലോകരുടെയും മുഴങ്കാൽ ഒക്കെയും മടങ്ങുകയും എല്ലാനാവും “യേശുക്രിസ്തു കർത്താവു” എന്നു പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നായി ഏറ്റുപറകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടിവരും.

The first chapter of the book titled “Talking with God” by the blessed Christian writer François Fénelon, had a great impact on my life. Let me capture it here in a simple manner. 

You must share with God in prayer, whatever thoughts that are coming into mind. If you desire to enjoy the presence of God or if you want to love Him, tell him just that. Share all your joys with Him. 

If you thus, pour out your heart before the Lord, then the time you spend before God would quickly be over. This is because, what you must do is to tell the heavenly Father all that you have in your heart without a veil, as a small child would do.

Then you might ask me, “What am I to do when i am going through spiritual dryness and physical weaknesses, and trials?” You tell all that is within your heart as it is.

If it were that you don’t feel any love towards Him and all things were like a big emptiness and His presence not moving you, and feeling so bored with the life, then tell those also, to the Lord in prayer.

Confess all sins to God. Don’t hide anything. 

Many ask, “What is there to speak much with God?”

Your illnesses, trials, anxieties, your difficulties which you cannot share with others; all these you share with Lord Jesus.

Tell him, “My dear God, please see my thanklessness and my faithlessness ,I open my heart and lay it bare before You.”

“Instil a hatred in me for the lusts of the world; keep me close, under your yoke, O Lord. Have mercy on me.”

If you thus start to speak with the Lord at all times about the mercies of the Lord, or about your situation, the time you spent in the presence of the Lord would be meaningful.

Even though you are going through any of the situations which I have described above, don’t hesitate to tell Jesus about all that is in your heart. It should be done with the simplicity and rest which a small child enjoys, sitting on the lap of his mother…

Don’t postpone this to a later time; Your God is residing in you more truly than the phone that is in your hand. Jesus is with you. Start pouring out your heart before the Lord. He knows all things. All of them…Let your moments from now on, be only with the Lord…

The introduction to Psalm 102 reads like this: ’A Prayer of the afflicted when he is weak and pours out his complaint before the LORD’.

Now read carefully how the Psalmist who is going through all kinds of afflictions - physical weakness, frustration, terrifying loneliness, mental weariness - pours out all his sorrows before the Lord …

1. The momentariness of life

‘For my days have ended in smoke,And my bones have been scorched like a hearth.’ [Psalm 102:3]

‘My days are like a lengthened shadow,And I wither away like grass’. [Psalm 103:11]

He has broken my strength in the way;He has shortened my days’. [Psalm 102:23]

2. The brokenness of the heart

‘My heart has been struck like grass and has withered,Indeed, I forget to eat my bread.Because of the loudness of my groaning.My bones cling to my flesh’. [Psalm 102: 4-5]

‘I lie awake,I have become like a solitary bird on a housetop’. [Psalm 102:7]

3. The troubles of various kinds, as in a valley of tears

‘Hear my prayer, LORD!And let my cry for help come to You’. [Psalm 102:1]

‘For I have eaten ashes like bread,And mixed my drink with weeping.Because of Your indignation and Your wrath;For You have lifted me up and thrown me away’. [Psalm 102:9-10]

‘The pelican of the wilderness’, ‘the owl of the ruins’, ‘a solitary bird on a housetop’ … if you think that these words explain the condition you have been going through since the last several months, then this is your Psalm.

A ‘loud cry’, a ‘scorched and dry heart’, the ‘loudness of groaning’, the ‘days that end in smoke’, the ‘forgetting to eat bread’ … do you think that these words describe your condition in life?

Well then, be comforted. There is a God who will never leave us nor forsake us, the One who knows us, the One who was tested in all trials like ours, Jesus the Christ, the One who is merciful and gracious towards us!

Read aloud the words that gave strength to the Psalmist.

‘In time of old You founded the earth,And the heavens are the work of Your hands.Even they will perish, but You endure;All of them will wear out like a garment;Like clothing You will change them and they will pass away.But You are the same,And Your years will not come to an end’. [Psalm 102: 25 – 27]

The Almighty One, the unchanging One, the Creator of all things, the Lord of all, He is my strength. 

‘This will be written for the generation to come,That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD’. [Psalm 102: 18]

But You, LORD, remain forever,And Your name remains to all generations’. [Psalm 102: 12]

'Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever’. [Hebrews 13:8]

So, let us lay down all our burdens and pour out our heart to the Lord who knows everything and sees everything. May the Lord bless you!

THE ALMIGHTY ONE, THE UNCHANGING ONE, THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS, THE LORD OF ALL, HE IS MY STRENGTH.    

Psalms 107

In the Psalm 107 we read the history of the people of God, both where they went through four kinds of sufferings and God saving them from these, as they cried to the Lord.

1. Desert

“Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away.” Psalm 107:4,5

They lost all their hopes as they were in the life’s journey. A state where their heart was fallen. Not able to put forth even one more step. However, it is written one thing which they did.

“Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.”  Psalm107: 6-7

Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord

2. Slavery

The people of God who rebelled against God had to live in pitch darkness. They suffered greatly in chains of slavery. In the land of Egypt and in other countries, people had to suffer greatly.

“Because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High. So, he subjected them to bitter labour; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.” Psalm 107:11,12

They cried out to God as they were in chain of slavery in pitch darkness. God is unchanging. His heart melted as He saw the tears of His people. 

“He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness and broke away their chains.for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.”- Psalm107:14,16

Glory to God.

3. Sickness

They had approached the gates of death. They groaned under the weight of their illnesses. They hated all kinds of food. A state where no medicine was effective. A situation where the doctors had given up. Lying on the bed of sickness, they cried unto the Lord their healer. He is a good doctor for all illnesses.  He had said: “I am the Lord that heals you”.

“They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.” Psalm 107:18-20

Glory be to the Lord who heals by sending the Word.

4. Storm and Waves

The people went through great tribulation. They lost all hopes in life. A state in which a decision could not be taken by thinking. Unable to sleep due to anxieties. Like a small boat which has been trapped in the middle of the sea in a whirlwind. Unable to disclose anything due to extreme mental tension. They cried unto God who understands the hearts. 

“For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end”. Psalm 107:25-27

These lowly people cried out. And the Lord heard. How did the Almighty God send the reply?

“He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.” Psalm107:29,30

O God, You are Almighty. All things are possible to You. Halleluiah.

… However, in all these four situations, as God redeemed them, they praised and glorified the Lord.

“Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,” Psalm 107:8, 15,21,31

You who read this might be going through one of these situations. There is only one way out:  Cry out to the Lord and pray with whole heart. Jesus will redeem us… He is unchanging. Let us confess our sins and repent. Let us commit all our worries into the hands of the Lord. He will lead us till the end. But as we receive the answer, let us be thankful to God. Le us praise God, worship Him…

Once, the renowned Radio Evangelist David Jeremiah arrived to participate in Alabama prayer conference.

One of the organizers of the event informed him that someone was waiting to see him. The young man who came to see David introduced himself: “Sir, my name is Red. I came to see you, hearing that you have come to this city. Let me share my experience to you.  Sometime earlier, having lost all hope in my life, I decided to end my life. As I lived in a life of splendor, I had lost all hope in my life. I decided to commit suicide by driving the car at high speed and ram against a large tree which was at a road bend. Thus, I went to end my life by hitting against that large tree. I was blaring a rock music through the car radio as I started driving. The radio was not functioning well as the car was speeding along. In a fit of rage, I punched the radio buttons. The car was fast approaching my target. At once a message from another radio station sounded in the car. It was the impact of punching the radio buttons, that changed the radio station. I hear a sermon about heaven, how to reach there, how to receive eternal life, words of salvation etc.… David, it was your Radio program titled ‘Turning Point’. I stopped the car and received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Today I am a traveler to heavenly Zion.” Red stopped speaking.

          Then we together glorified God in joy.

God loves you! Believe in Jesus. If you are one who is sharing in the love of God, then keep growing in it. Nothing is impossible with God.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor 15:58.

 

Once upon a time, two God fearing friends each planted an apple tree. And they prayed everyday from their land for the abundant growth of the apple tree.

The first friend prayed in this manner:

“Lord, this apple tree needs the rain now”. The Lord heard his prayer and sent the rain. He prayed again, “Lord, I understand that my apple tree needs the sun now; so please give plenty of warm sunlight”.  So, the Lord gave warm sunlight. He prayed again, “Lord at this point in time my apple tree needs the snow”. So, the Lord gave the snow.

In this manner, he continued to pray for diverse needs about his apple tree. And all his prayers were answered. But after a few days, that apple tree withered away. 

However, the other friend’s apple tree was full of fruit! So, the first man asked his friend. “How did this happen? I prayed for many things for my apple tree, and the Lord answered all my prayers; but there is no fruit on my tree! Did you also pray? What did you pray for?”

His friend replied, “I prayed like this: ‘Lord, you know everything. At the right time please give this apple tree the sunlight, snow, and the rain that it needs, according to Your will’!”

Should we make our requests known to God? We should. However, our prayers must be a request for the fulfillment of the Lord’s will; not just for today but for every day!!

Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as in heaven! Matthew 6:10

 

അലബാമയിലുള്ള പ്രയർ കോൺഫറൻസിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ പ്രശസ്ത റേഡിയോ പ്രഭാഷകനായ ഡേവിഡ് ജറമിയാ എത്തി.

തന്നെ കാണാൻ ആരോ കാത്തു നിൽക്കുന്നു എന്ന് സംഘാടകരിലൊരാൾ അറിയിച്ചു.
ഡേവിഡിനെ കാണാൻ വന്ന യൗവ്വനക്കാരൻ തന്നെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി.
"സാർ എന്റെ പേര് റെഡ് .താങ്കൾ ഈ പട്ടണത്തിൽ വരുന്നു എന്നറിഞ്ഞ് ഞാൻ കാണാൻ വന്നതാണ്. എന്റെ അനുഭവം നേരിൽ പങ്കു വെയ്ക്കട്ടെ.
ചില നാളുകൾക്ക് മുമ്പ് നിരാശനായി ജീവിതം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ലോക സുഖങ്ങളിൽ മുഴുകി ജീവിച്ച എനിക്ക് ഒരിടത്തും സമാധാനം ലഭിച്ചില്ല. വളരെ വേഗത്തിൽ എന്റെ കാറോടിച്ച് ഒരു വലിയ വളവിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന വൻമരത്തിലിടിപ്പിച്ച് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യുവാൻ ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു. റോക്ക് മ്യൂസിക് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ റേഡിയോയിൽ കേട്ടു കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു ഞാൻ ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് തുടങ്ങിയത് .ചീറിപ്പാഞ്ഞ കാറിൽ റേഡിയോ ശരിയായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചില്ല. ദേഷ്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ റേഡിയോ 'കീ 'കളിൽ ശക്തിയായി മുഷ്ടി ചുരുട്ടി ഇടിച്ചു, കാർ എന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലക്ക് അടുത്തു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. പെട്ടെന്ന് മറ്റേതോ റേഡിയോ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു സന്ദേശം എന്റെ കാറിനുള്ളിൽ മുഴങ്ങി .എന്റെ ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തിൽ റോക്ക് മ്യുസിക് സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാറിയതാണ് കാരണം. ഞാൻ കേട്ടത് സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഒരു പ്രസംഗം .എങ്ങനെ അവിടെ എത്താം, നിത്യജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കാം, രക്ഷയുടെ വചനങ്ങൾ ....
ഡേവിഡ് താങ്കളുടെ Turning point റേഡിയോ സന്ദേശമായിരുന്നു അത്. ഞാൻ കാർ നിർത്തി കർത്താവായ യേശുവിനെ സ്വന്തം രക്ഷകനും കർത്താവുമായി അവിടെ വച്ച് സ്വീകരിച്ചു.

റെഡ് പറഞ്ഞു നിർത്തി, ഞങ്ങൾ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു. യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുക.

ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തെ പങ്കു വെക്കുന്ന ഒരാളാണ് നിങ്ങളെങ്കിൽ അതിൽ വർദ്ധിച്ചു വരുക.
ദൈവത്തിന് അസാദ്ധ്യമായി ഒന്നുമില്ല.

ആകയാൽ എന്റെ പ്രിയ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഉറപ്പുള്ളവരും കുലുങ്ങാത്തവരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രയത്നം കർത്താവിൽ വ്യർത്ഥമല്ല എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ കർത്താവിന്റെ വേലയിൽ എപ്പോഴും വർദ്ധിച്ചുവരുന്നവരും ആകുവിൻ .1 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 15: 58

 

An 8-year-old named Grady in the state of Ohio was affected with a fatal illness (Leukaemia) while studying in school.

For the next one year he couldn’t go to school. He went through a series of painful treatments in the hospital. By the grace of God, he was cured of this illness. Since he longed to see his friends, his doctor permitted him to attend the school for a few hours every day.

Thus, after an interval of one year, when he first went to the school, he was awestruck. He was greeted by the Principal of the school with a bunch of Roses. The students were holding colourful balloons to receive him. The whole the school compound was decorated with coloured papers. As he was led to the auditorium with applause, Grady saw a large banner on which was written ‘Grand Welcome’.

For him, all those pains which he underwent were like nothing. He told his mom, “This is the happiest day in my life.”

A mere welcome by the school could caused all the pains Grady bore, by the illness to be forgotten. His heart was filled with happiness. Tears of joy flowed from his eyes.

Dear friend, remember that moment when the Lord Jesus, leading you holding your hand by tightly, by His nail pierced hands, with the applause of the angels to the heavenly concert, in the city of heaven.you will forget all the pains you went through in your earthly life.you will see His face....

You will sing:

  You took my sin and my shame

You took my sickness and healed all my pain

Thank You Lord

Thank You Lord

With a grateful heart

With a song of praise

With an outstretched arm

I will bless Your name

For all You've done in my life

You took my darkness and gave me Your light

Thank You Lord

Thank You Lord

Then our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will give you a glorious welcome into His kingdom that will last forever. Ref:  2 Peter 1: 11 

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

 

ഒഹായിയോയിൽ 8 വയസ്സുകാരനായ ഗ്രേയ്റ്റി എന്ന കുട്ടി  സ്കൂളിൽ പഠിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ മാരക രോഗം ( ലുക്കെമിയ)പിടിപെട്ടു.

തുടർന്നുള്ള ഒരു വർഷം അവന് സ്കൂളിൽ പോകാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
ആശുപത്രിയിൽ വേദനാജനകമായ അനേകം ചികിത്സകളിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോയി. ദൈവാനുഗ്രഹത്താൽ അവന്റെ രോഗം ഭേദമായി 
തന്റെ സഹപാഠികളെ കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച അവന് ചില മണിക്കൂറുകൾ എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ക്ലാസ്സ് അറ്റൻഡ് ചെയ്യാൻ ഡോക്ടർ അനുവാദം നൽകി.

അങ്ങനെ ഒരു വർഷത്തെ ഇടവേളയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ആദ്യമായി സ്കൂൾ ഗേറ്റ് കടന്ന അവൻ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു .പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ അവനെ റോസാപ്പൂക്കൾ നൽകി സ്വീകരിച്ചു. അവനെ സ്വീകരിപ്പാൻ സ്കൂളിലുള്ള കുട്ടികൾ മുഴുവൻ പല നിറത്തിലുള്ള ബലൂണുകൾ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് നിൽക്കുന്നു.സ്കൂൾ കോമ്പൗണ്ട് മുഴുവൻ വർണ്ണ കടലാസുകൾ കൊണ്ട് അലങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഹർഷാരവങ്ങളോടെ ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിലേക്ക് ആനയിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഗ്രേയ്റ്റി ഒരു വലിയ ബോർഡ് കണ്ടു, "Grand Welcome ' (' ഹാർദ്ദവമായ സ്വാഗതം )

ഇന്നുവരെ അനുഭവിച്ച എല്ലാ വേദനകളും അവന് ഒന്നുമല്ലാതായി .അവൻ അമ്മയോട് പറഞ്ഞു "എന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും സന്തോഷ പ്രദമായ ദിവസമാണ് ഇന്ന് "

അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷത്താൽ നിറഞ്ഞു. ആനന്ദാശ്രുക്കൾ അവന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ നിന്നും ഒഴുകി.

പ്രിയ സ്നേഹിതാ, കർത്താവായ യേശു സ്വർഗ്ഗീയ പട്ടണത്തിൽ ദൂതൻമാരുടെ ഘോഷത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ തന്റെ അണിപ്പാടുള്ള കരം നിങ്ങളുടെ കരങ്ങളിൽ ചേർത്ത് പിടിച്ച് സ്വർഗ്ഗീയമണ്ഡപത്തിലേക്ക് ആനയിക്കുന്ന രംഗം ഒരു നിമിഷം ധ്യാനിക്കുക.

...നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവും രക്ഷിതാവുമായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നിത്യരാജ്യത്തിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം ധാരാളമായി പ്രാപിക്കും.

നമ്മിൽ വെളിപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള തേജസ്സു വിചാരിച്ചാൽ ഈ കാലത്തിലെ കഷ്ടങ്ങൾ സാരമില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ എണ്ണുന്നു.

റോമർ 8: 18 

1952-ൽ ഫ്ലോറൻസ് ചാഡ് വിക്ക് 22 മൈൽ ദൂരം നീന്തുവാൻ കാലിഫോർണിയയിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു. കാറ്റലിന എന്ന മനോഹര ദ്വീപായിരുന്നു ലക്ഷ്യം. ചില ബോട്ടുകൾ അവളെ അനുഗമിച്ചു .ഏതെങ്കിലും അടിയന്തര സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ വന്നാൽ സഹായിക്കാൻ അവർ തയ്യാറായിരുന്നു.

പതിനഞ്ചു മണിക്കൂറുകൾ വിജയകരമായി നീന്തി മുന്നേറിയ ഫ്ലോറൻസിന് മഞ്ഞു മൂലം കര ദൃശ്യമായിരുന്നില്ല.
ശാരീരികമായി ക്ഷീണിച്ച അവൾക്ക് മഞ്ഞ് ഒരു തടസമായി തോന്നി.
ഇനി എത്ര ദൂരം? ചിന്തകൾ അവളെ തളർത്തി. അവൾ നീന്തൽ നിർത്തി.
പിൻഗമിച്ച ബോട്ടിൽ അവൾ കയറിയപ്പോൾ ഒരു കാര്യം മനസ്സിലായി.
ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലെത്താൻ അല്പ ദൂരം മാത്രമേ മുൻപിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു.

2 മാസത്തിന് ശേഷം വീണ്ടും നീന്തുവാൻ തുടങ്ങി .ഇപ്രാവശ്യം ലക്ഷ്യം മനസ്സിൽ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു . കാറ്റലിന ദ്വീപ് എത്താറായപ്പോൾ ശക്തമായ മഞ്ഞ്! മുമ്പിൽ ഒന്നും കാണാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നില്ല. എന്നാൽ മുൻപോട്ട് നീന്തി വിജയകരമായി ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലെത്തി.

ഫ്ലോറൻസ് പറഞ്ഞു. "തിരുവചനത്തിലെ ആശിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഉറപ്പും കാണാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ നിശ്ചയവും എന്താണെന്ന് ഇപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് വ്യക്തമായി "

ദൈവകൃപയിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ച് മുന്നേറുക .മുൻപിൽ ഒന്നും ദൃശ്യമല്ലെങ്കിലും വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ, യേശു കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ ഹൃദയം ഉറപ്പിക്കാം: പ്രത്യാശയുടെ തീരം അധികം ദൂരത്തിലല്ല!

വിശ്വാസം എന്നതോ, ആശിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഉറപ്പും കാണാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ നിശ്ചയവും ആകുന്നു.

എബ്രായർ 11 :1 

"ശാന്ത തുറമുഖം അടുത്തു
എന്റെ കാന്തനോടേറ്റം അടുത്തു
അധികമില്ല യാത്ര അധികമില്ല

കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും തിരമാലയും
പടകിലേറി അടിച്ചിടുമ്പോൾ
ക്രൂശേ നോക്കി യാത്ര ചെയ്യും
ശാശ്വത വീട്ടിലെത്തുവോളം "

ഒരിക്കൽ ദൈവഭക്തരായ രണ്ടു സ്നേഹിതൻമാർ ഓരോ ആപ്പിൾ മരങ്ങൾ നട്ടു. ഇവർ തങ്ങൾ പാർത്ത ദേശത്തിരുന്ന് എന്നും പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

ഒന്നാമൻ ഇപ്രകാരം ദൈവത്തോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.

' കർത്താവേ ഈ ആപ്പിൾ മരത്തിന് ഇപ്പോൾ മഴ ആവശ്യമാണ്.. മഴ പെയ്യിക്കേണമേ'
ദൈവം പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ട് നല്ല മഴ നൽകി .
വീണ്ടും അവൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു: കർത്താവേ ഇപ്പോൾ ഈ മരത്തിന് വെയിൽ ആവശ്യമാണെന്ന് ഞാൻ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു 'നല്ല വെയിൽ തന്നാലും..
ദൈവം നല്ല വെയിൽ നൽകി...
കർത്താവേ ഇപ്പോൾ മഞ്ഞാണ് ആവശ്യം :മഞ്ഞ് ദൈവം നൽകി....
ഇങ്ങനെ വിവിധ പ്രാർത്ഥനകൾ തുടർന്നു. എല്ലാറ്റിനും ഉത്തരം കിട്ടി.
എന്നാൽ ചില നാളുകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ആപ്പിൾ മരം ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

എന്നാൽ മറ്റേയാളുടെ ആപ്പിൾ മരം നിറച്ച് ഫലങ്ങൾ !!
ഒന്നാമൻ സുഹൃത്തിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു. ഇതെങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു? ഞാൻ വളരെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു എല്ലാറ്റിനും ഉത്തരം കിട്ടിയതാണല്ലോ.. പക്ഷേ ഫലങ്ങളില്ല " നീ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചോ? എന്താണ് അപേക്ഷിച്ചത്?"
രണ്ടാമൻ പറഞ്ഞു: "ഞാൻ ഇപ്രകാരം പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു. ദൈവമേ അവിടുന്ന് എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നു .തക്ക സമയത്ത് ഈ ആപ്പിൾ മരത്തിനാവശ്യമായ മഞ്ഞോ, മഴയോ, വെയിലോ അവിടുത്തെ ഹിതപ്രകാരം നൽകണമേ''
ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കേണ്ടേ? നിശ്ചയമായും ...
എന്നാൽ പ്രാർത്ഥന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം നിറവേറാനുള്ള അപേക്ഷയത്രേ..
ദൈവഹിതം നിറവേറട്ടെ! ഇന്നേ ദിവസം മാത്രമല്ല, എന്നും !!

അവിടുത്തെ രാജ്യം വരണമേ; തിരുഹിതം സ്വർഗത്തിലെപോലെ ഭൂമിയിലും നിറവേറണമേ;

Corrie Ten and her sister Betsy are among those people who suffered severely in concentration camps because they helped many Jews to escape or hide from Nazi persecution. The hard labour they were forced to do during the day and the tiny, congested and uncomfortable rooms to spend the nights in, had made them very weary. 

The little bottle of vitamin drops they had in their possession, was soon running out. Their fellow prisoners were starving because they were not given sufficient food. Many of them developed very high fever. ‘What shall we do? When we do not have enough vitamin drops for ourselves, how will we share it with others?’ 

But in faith, they called in the other prisoners and shared the vitamin drops with them. It amazed them that, though drop by drop, there was enough for everyone in the cell. And this happened every day!  They praised the Lord! The Lord who sustained the widow of Zarephath centuries ago, with the promise that the jar of flour and the jug of oil will not run dry, still lives!

After many days, a security guard had compassion on the poor prisoners and gave them a box of bottles of vitamin drops. The sisters were excited, and they told themselves, ‘First let’s finish the vitamin drops in our own bottle, then we shall open the new bottles and give of it to everyone!’. However, that day they realised that the old bottle did not have even a drop of vitamin in it. The God of Elijah still lives … the Lord who provides … the Lord who cares, … the Lord who sustains …

For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the land.’ 1 Kings 17:14

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13: 8

   Once a father and his son went to a pet shop to buy a dog. They  had come to buy a puppy as per the wish of the son. Welcoming them, the shop owner said:

  “Come.., there are different breeds of puppies here. You can choose one for yourself. 

The sales person showed each of the puppy and said, “this breed runs very fast... Look here, this one is good at hunting…”

However, there was a puppy in the corner which was lame in a leg. The son pointed at that dog and said: “Uncle, I just want that one.” The owner came to him and told him with love: “This puppy is lame. It cannot run and jump with you, son! Lifting his dress up to the knees, he said: “Uncle you see this.” There were a set of steel rods supporting his polio-stricken legs. “I cannot run fast. I can understand this puppy…”

The owner of the shop said… “You do not have to give me anything. Take it for free…” But he took the money from his father and paying the owner, he said: “This one is also as valuable as other puppies.”

The eyes of those watching the son carrying the puppy were wet.

To love others, to understand others, to do good…. To consider others greater than oneself… May God give us grace to do these. 

 Let us give comfort and strength to others, without forgetting that God has comforted us in our troubles.

നാസി ജയിലിൽ കോറി ടെൻ ബൂം, സഹോദരി ബെറ്റ്സി എന്നിവർ യെഹൂദൻമാരെ സഹായിച്ചതിന്റെ പേരിൽ വളരെയധികം കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.

പകൽ കഠിനമായ ജോലി, സൌകര്യങ്ങളില്ലാത്ത മുറിയിൽ താമസം മുതലായ കാരണങ്ങളാൽ അവർ ക്ഷീണിച്ചവശരായി.
തങ്ങളുടെ കൈവശം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒരു കുപ്പിയിൽ വിറ്റാമിൻ തുള്ളികൾ കുറച്ചു മാത്രം ശേഷിച്ചു.25 പേരോളം സഹതടവുകാർ ആവശ്യത്തിനുള്ള ആഹാരം കിട്ടാതെ വലഞ്ഞു. പലർക്കും ശക്തമായ പനി തുടങ്ങി .,
"എന്തു ചെയ്യും? നമുക്കു പോലും വിറ്റാമിൻ തുള്ളികൾ തികയാത്ത അവസ്ഥ ... എങ്ങനെ ഇവർക്കും കൂടെ നൽകാൻ സാധിക്കും?"

അവർ വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ എല്ലാവരെയും വിളിച്ച് വിറ്റാമിൻ ഡ്രോപ്സ് നൽകി ...അദ്ഭുതം !! തുള്ളി തുള്ളിയായി ചെറിയ കുപ്പിയിൽ നിന്ന് വിറ്റാമിൻ എല്ലാവർക്കും ലഭിച്ചു. എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ഇത് ആവർത്തിച്ചു:
അവർ ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിച്ചു . നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകൾക്കു മുമ്പ് സാരെഫാത്തിലെ വിധവയുടെ കലത്തിലെ മാവും തുരുത്തിയിലെ എണ്ണയും തീർന്നു പോകാതെ അവരെ കരുതിയ ദൈവം ജീവിക്കുന്നു.

ചില നാളുകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഒരു ഗാർഡ് തടവുകാരോട് കരുണ തോന്നി വിറ്റാമിൻ കുപ്പികൾ നിറച്ച ഒരു പെട്ടി നൽകി.

"ആദ്യം ഈ കുപ്പിയിലെ വിറ്റാമിൻ തുള്ളികൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തീർക്കാം .അതിന് ശേഷം പെട്ടി തുറന്ന് പുതിയ കുപ്പികൾ എല്ലാവർക്കും നൽകാം."സഹോദരിമാർ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
എന്നാൽ അന്ന് ആ പഴയ കുപ്പി ചെരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഒരു തുള്ളി വിറ്റാമിൻ പോലും ലഭിച്ചില്ല ....
ഏലിയാവിന്റെ ദൈവം ഇന്നും ജീവിക്കുന്നു....
കരുതുന്ന ദൈവം ......
പരിപാലിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം ....

‘യഹോവ ഭൂമിയിൽ മഴ പെയ്യിക്കുന്ന നാൾവരെ കലത്തിലെ മാവ് തീർന്നുപോകയില്ല; ഭരണിയിലെ എണ്ണ കുറഞ്ഞുപോകയും ഇല്ല’ എന്ന് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
1 രാജാക്കന്മാർ 17: 14

യേശുക്രിസ്തു ഇന്നലെയും ഇന്നും എന്നെന്നേക്കും മാറ്റമില്ലാത്തവൻ തന്നേ.

Jenny was tired of her life in her teenage years itself. A dad who is old fashioned in his thinking …  and Jenny who wanted to enjoy the freedom and fun of modern lifestyle. So, one day she told her Dad, ‘Daddy, I hate you. In this house I have no freedom to do anything’.  And then one day, without informing anyone, Jenny left her house in Michigan Traverse, and travelled to the distant city called Detroit. She had only one aim, to enjoy life. 

Two days after she reached Detroit, she got acquainted with a man whom she called ‘The Boss’. He was the leader of a drug chain. Jenny found this newfound life thrilling … lots of friends, parties, fun …  The year passed very quickly. Soon her health deteriorated … a severe cough bothered her …. and The Boss told her, ‘Vacate the house soon’. With no one to turn to, Jenny spent the severely cold night on the veranda of a departmental store. Suddenly she recalled the time when she used to drive around in her dad’s car through their cherry orchard in Michigan. She thought, ‘Here I am shivering and trembling in this biting cold … in my Daddy’s house even the pet dog lives in great comfort.’ Her eyes began to water, as she was overcome with sorrow and remorse. 

She remembered that in one of the stores she had been to, she had seen a poster in a newspaper with her picture and the caption, ‘Have you see this child?’ She hastened to the nearby telephone booth and called home, but no one answered. So, she left a message in the answering machine three times saying, ‘Mum and Dad, this is Jenny. At midnight tomorrow I will arrive at the Michigan Traverse bus stop. If you would like to receive me, please wait for me at the bus stop. If I don’t see you, I will continue on the journey to Canada.

It was a journey of several long hours to Michigan Traverse, and Jenny was tired. She was now drawing closer to her home state … in just 15 minutes she would know what direction her life would take ...  her heart was beating faster and faster every moment. Traverse City … the conductor’s voice resounded!!! Past midnight … she got out of the bus slowly … and there she saw a large banner which read, “Welcome Home!” Around 40 family members were waiting to receive her. Her dad came running … ‘Daughter … he hugged and kissed her. “Daddy, I have been wrong, please forgive me …. Her dad did not let her complete the words of apology she had rehearsed so many times. “Daughter, come, let us go home quickly, I have prepared a great feast for you. Today is a day of rejoicing”.

This is not the story of Jenny alone. Jesus narrated the story of the prodigal son who returned to his father. It’s the story of you and I …. a true story …. someone said it’s the story of a prodigal father who squandered his love upon his disobedient son. Thank You Lord, Abba Father, thank You … for everything.
