Edward Jones was a famous British artist. Once when he came to his daughter’s house, he saw something which grieved him. His grand daughter was weeping in their visiting room, with her face pressed against the wall.
“She must have been unruly and hence received punishment for it”, he thought in his mind.

Nevertheless, after a while the house returned to its calm ambience. Using the paint and the brush in their house, he painted a painting for his most favorite grandchild upon the wall. What was that? It was a mural of a formation of birds and a kitten. After a while, the wall wetted by the child’s tears, became a canvas for a beautiful picture.” Thank you so much, Grandpa!" Said Angela, the child. Now what fell from her eyes were tears of joy.

Our Lord is the perfect artist. That part in our life which was ruined, like a potter’s vessel which was shattered, He will neither throw away, nor will He discard.  Jesus Christ who shall neither break a bruised reed, nor quench a smoking flax, shall make it beautiful. His image will appear in it. Then we will say, “Thank You Dad,.. for all things!”

Joseph who spent his youth behind the bars in Egypt,..Moses who wandered 40 years in the wilderness, a David who experienced much brokenness,..many many lives… However, the loving God never discarded any of them.
Through their lives God manifested His glory. How good is God.!!

There is Peter who weeps bitterly, pressing his face against a wall for having denied His loving Master. He surmises: All is over, now there is no possibility of any hope. But there at the sea shore, there is Jesus who paints an indelible mural(picture) on the walls of his heart, as He asks him three times, if he loves Him!

As these are read, there comes to my mind the unfading pictures of the love of God.

There is the picture of the woman who runs back to her village, leaving the vessel she brought to fetch water, at the well.

Then there is the picture of the disciples who returns to Jerusalem from Emmaus.

“Go, neither do I condemn thee”. The sinful woman who goes back on hearing these words…
It’s still not yet over…Even we all, who go through this short article.,

Let us tell a word to the Lord. “I thank You for all that happened in my life. You are conforming me according to Your image and likeness. Lord, when You appear, I will be transformed into Your likeness. Thank You Dad! Abba, Father,.. Thank You!..”
