It was Thomas Alva Edison who invented the Incandescent bulb. But in the initial experiments this bulb did not function for many hours.

Further to that, a team of 24 scientists worked very hard for 48 hours. And their experiments saw a complete victory. Their hearts were filled with joy. That bulb gave forth uninterrupted light. Then, Edison told the youngest scientist in that group: “Please carry this very carefully to the upper floor and place it there and come back.”

The young man carried the bulb with exceeding joy to the upper floor.

“Dhim..” The bulb fell from his hands and was shattered. When Edison and his team came running up there, what they saw there was heart breaking. In the midst of a thousand shattered glass pieces, was the young scientist sitting and crying bitterly.

“Don’t  worry. We will try again”. Edison told him by patting his shoulder.

Once again, the 24 scientists worked as a team tirelessly for 48 hours. This time again it was a perfect victory. Bulb now glowed brightly. Everyone was very happy.

This time the young scientist tried to hide himself. However, Edison called this young man himself. “You come over here. Take this to it place in the upper floor, keep it there and come back.” He was startled. “Here Edison is giving me one more chance!” He took the bulb carefully to the upper floor and placed it in its place. That bulb glowed brightly… And his heart too!

Jesus who waits for Peter who denied him 3 times, at the shore of the Sea of Tiberias! Three times Jesus asks him: “Do you love Me?“ Peter admits 3 times: “Yes Lord!” Jesus told him. “Feed my sheep”.

If Edison gave a chance at the same place where his young co-worker had failed, how much more will Jesus who is the embodiment of love, do for you?

As this short article comes to a close, there remains only Jesus... and you!

There is only one question which Jesus has...” Do you love Me?”

  3. Can't answer any differently than Peter himself did. "Lord, you know everything, you know that I love you."
